i find the hermit is someone who is doing some soul searching or shoudl be..

looking at whre he is in life

also someone who is tring to find things out and is ding some searching..

I think the Hermit is reclusive in that he prefers to do everything alone.
He is constantly searching for a higher spiritual ground. He is gaining
wisdom through experiences and he is holding out his light of experiences
for others to see and follow.

Getting this card can also mean that you are looking for a teacher or for
someone to give you advice.

Or on a more mundane level, you could be making plans for a trip.

Hermit is ruled by the sign of Virgo, which is a born worrier, extremely analytical but has a penchant for churning things over and over in its mind and this can cause a bit of mental stress and worrying and restlessness.

Hermit is all about self examination, contemplation, silence, solitude and wanting some alone time to think things through..... deeply
