I tend to read Death as change in some aspect of the querent's life. It can be a positive change, or a negative change. For example, maybe Death represents the end of an addiction. Or it could mean the ending of one's job. It could be a neutral change - maybe the querent is simply changing their residence. It could just be a mental change - perhaps a person who's always feared/hated blue eyed people has a change of heart and realized how irrational it was.
