The person in this card is wearing a black cloak which to me says they are in a state of mourning, regretting something. However rather than stay and be miserable this person is seeking another path – a path of hope on the other side of the mountain. There he is hoping to find what he has been searching for. He has turned his back on what he has and need to find something new.

Turning your back on something that is no longer working for you.

Taking a new path to strive for something better.

Knowing that you have made a wrong move and feeling the need to move on to something better.

Finding a way out.

Running from something potentially good because you feel bad about it.

Walking away from something which feels wrong.

Confusion - the sun and moon together make me think of mixed emotions, ie, it´s easier to walk away than not.

this is a sad card to me..

it shows to me that even though someone doesnt really want to leave, they know that they have to because they will not get what they want,,not what makes them happy anyhow..kinda like not wanting to leave but given up on the situation or person.
