Sometimes if we spend too much thought on not trying to learn from our 'Past lives mistakes' it will not allow us to make steps in this life. I would try more to learn from the ones you make now rather than trying to find old ones and learn from them and it is not until we makes some mistakes that we finally know our paths.
As for some techniques on past life there may be some members whom know of some for you. Or you could check out the past life forum on MB.

Dear Rasika,
This is the resident cynic and realist of this forum, speaking :-)
Put candidly (some would say bluntly!), if we were meant to benefit from the specifics of our past lives, God would have made sure we would remember those! After all, He did make it certain that our bodies remember the entire history of our evolution (during development of foetus = ontogeny repeats phylogeny) and through the genes that we have and which hold within them historical markers of the entire species etc.
If I were you, I would not get too stressed about trying to remember the specifics of what I was in the last birth or earlier. All that we need to know and to go ahead in our spiritual evolution is already inside us and will emerge when the time is right.
We tend to think of our 'soul/spirit' in the same term as our individualized and incarnated body and mind. Perhaps it is not a linear progression from one lifetime to another as has been depicted and accepted by many. Rebirths are not like an orange breeding and being born as another orange and another ...
Reincarnation may be like an orange tree. Many oranges may be expressed by the tree in a lifetime and some oranges may end up becoming juice, others may end up as other incarnated products, from marmalades, to medicines!
I hope you catch my drift!

[quote="rasika"]Hello,
I consulted one trained hypnotherapist who is known to regress people to their past lives. Unfortunately having participated in expensive regression session I could not retrieve my past which I am very much interested to find where and waht I left at in my previous incarnations especially on spiritual front so that I did not have to repeat the past mistakes. I wish to move forward rather going in circles.
Request all of like minded people to guide me a simple effective past life regression technique. Is anybody having any past life regression software? Can somebody share it with me on this forum? I shall be grateful for that.
Thanks
