I guess this is a two part question.

The first is that I have had  past life readings in the past. But is it possible to miss a life? I have had the strangest attraction to castles. I have traveled and have looked at castles from the bottom with a strong feeling of sorrow as if though I am saying goodbye to someone dear at the top.
When I watch a movie or televsion and there is a scene of medieval life around castle, visions out of no where happen...I see people as if though I am in power for they look and respect me. other times, my body just freezes and I begin to shudder.
Secondly, I have come to realize that I am repeating something that I have done in a previosus life. I was told I was a hermit who for some reason had a wife and two children who are no longer in the picture. Currently, I have never been married and have no children. But lately I have been living like a hermit and have this strong feeling that I have left someone. Do I I correct  the situation myself? Or is it a lesson I must go through again? Or, is it in this life I have chosen to correct this situation?

When we revisit past lives it is usually in an order that we need at the time. If we are not ready to revisit and learn from that visit then the life will not be open to us to view. It is very possible that the lives you have seena re not in order but that each holds something to prove to you that they are real lives, perhaps you had to learn something fromthem or even have confirmation so that you believe in reincarnation before you go on to lives that have karma that affect you now? relax and try meditating further and see what you get. You might not be ready to learn about your other lives or you may just be taking it slow and now that you believe they will open to you easily

You seem very intuned to your past lives.  Perhaps your purpose in this life is to make a commitment by way of marriage and the procreation of children to move on and progress.  Since you are living a "hermit's life" again in this incarnation, you are only regressing back to what you once were.  It's best not to focus so much on what you may have done in the past but what you can do in the future in order for you to grow more.  Making a commitment without abandoning your loved ones would seem to me a way to correct your karma.
