I am also of Cherokee descent living in Okla-homa (which btw means "Red Man" in Creek), and I know within my soul that I was one of the poor Native Americans that had to endure the Very Sad and Painful walk from Georgia to 'No Man's Land' ie Indian Territory, which is now Oklahoma.
My most recent incarnation was in 1946, and I have had 2 regressions done which verified this. I had been in the Civil War before this, and was a surgeon that was killed in battle. I became a recluse in my next incarnation living as a mountain man in the mountains of Tennessee. I chose this because I had developed a hatred for all the killing that mankind had done. I was also killed by a bear and remember my painful death Very Clearly.
Please do not 'dread' a past life 'reading' if you have the chance to have one. I 'regressed' on my own. I have a Very Special 'Quiet Place' that I retreat to about twice a month, and it's on the bank of a lake surrounded by woods. In this place I am Totally, Completely One With Nature! Many revelations have come to me at this place, and I am Totally at Peace.
ANYONE can go within themselves (meditate) and if you are at One with Nature (Spirit) MANY things will be told to you.
I encourage everyone to try and do this. Get away from the husstle and busstle of the 'City' and find a very secluded place and just SIT and LISTEN!
If you are really and truly 'At Peace' ... You CAN recall distant memories.

In my case, it was in a vivid dream. I am reasonably confident that it was a past life experience. When I mentioned the dream to a friend, that friend had details that I didn't mention but were in the dream, and that friend also may have had the past life at the same time and place.

It makes one wonder does'nt it... could the thoughts be energies of yours or indeed others from the past... how does one know that those in intuitions were their own personal past life experience...?

I have had a reccouring dream, a couple of times a year since I was little, and I always assumed it was a past life memory.
I'm standing in a stream (I know this sounds weird, but go with it...) and I think I'm panning for gold. I'm sifting through the grit and the sun is in my eyes, then someone calls what I think is MY name (not in this life) "Anne!" and i look up, then i wake up. Anyone have anything similar?

Hi if you ever find a way of finding out about your past lifes or find a software product along your travels please could you post it here so I can try to find my past lifes.
