You can get the free attunement not only in Usui Reiki for free but all also in other energies as well.There is a lot of variety availible there with good volunteer teachers which impart the knowledge for free. Try them.

Nope, but you may be thinking of the 21 day cleanse that some reiki masters say will happen after the first attunement? Or detox as in stop drinking and no smoking, eat wholesome nourishing food, sleep more and drink only water? How boring is that lol? But no although it will obviously result in a healthier you
