I have been seeing someone since Sept. who does radix...a  type of energy work. It's not reiki (i've never had this) but it seems to maybe achieve the same purpose...of healing and integrating. Since the last month or so, I've been very tingly, and am seeing energy (esp. outside). I was wondering if anyone knew more about this. I feel very charged at times...almost electrical. Grounding comes to mind. WHat kind of techniques might be good to ground this energy. Would it be good to use hematite or smokey quartz when I feel over charged or visualize the connection to the earth. I'm new to seeing and feeling the energy. Thanks for any input

Personally, I love hematite.  Smoke quartz is nice, and I  have some but hematite is my true "grounding" stone.  I have lots of hematite in beads, necklace, chunks polished.  I will take it any way I can.  I carry one with almost constantly.  When particularly "electric" I will wear the bracelet and/or necklace or just hold it in my hands.  I fill my pockets with hematite some days.
Can you tell I prefer hematite?? LOL.  I just find conducts any "extra" out and away, connects me when I'm "drifty".

I use both, I have a wonderful smoky that I am gradually cleaing with my energy, whenever I am ott I sit and hold it and it earths me perfectly

hmmm maybe I should give smokey quartz more credit! LOL and try your method, Gem.  spend some time with it.  I don't think my hematite would be jealous (haha)
and I might broaden my depth/sense of grounding and find a different energy level.  Thanks for that!

Thanks for the input. I have both and have tried them but I am new at all this.  I do like the heaviness of the hematite. Black tourmaline I have really come to like. I also found that taking a sea salt and baking soda bath helps and there's a way of sitting legs crossed and arms crossed and folded in that helps. So do you all see this wavy life force type movement? That's the extent of what I see now. I have read that others sometimes see this after reiki sessions.
