So no reasoning behind it then?

I didn't say my ideas are the only right ones, I said I had never run across this before and didn't know what it means which is why I came here in hopes of guidance to the correct solution for next time.  New things do offer a sense of fear/bewilderment that challenges us to search for answers sometimes.  I didn't know what was going on...and I was more disturbed as to what I was seeing coming off my own hands.  I was also concerned that this could be some type of sign that she had a major medical issue that was blocking her energy, and was unaware.  (have known several people that have gone from healthy and unaware to dead in a few weeks/months from cancer). I in no way felt she was "evil" or such, just detached.  Could she have been blocking the energy...possiblity...that is why I was asking for some insite.  Typically the white light is for healing/love/protection, white has worked acrosse the board for me for any person's energy colors.  I just have never had an experience where it changed the light on my own hands.

Truthfully...no I don't tell people that I use energy when I massage.  Most know, but new clients it doesn't come up.  I don't run a reiki treatment on them, unless they know and ask.  My hands are never still other then a few pressure point areas for muscle release.  All I typically do is call on the guides to guide my hands to help with healing their body and I feel the energy moving as I am rubbing.  They are there for help 9 times out of 10...because they have a dysfunction somewhere, whether it be a mental one and they want to relax, or a physical one and they want the pain eased.  They are there, open and trusting that I will help them with it.

I have had a client come in and say..."I hear all these people going to these places where they just lay hands on you...that is not for me...I like the rubbing of the muscles and getting the kinks out"  I told her that is what she was going to be getting, but mentioned that the energy was still going to be coming through.  She was fine with that...she got what she wanted, and still booked another appt.

I have had clients that don't take any energy or very little, when I am massaging...that is fine...I don't push it.  But I think I was valid in my freaking out at an experience/rejection of energy that was unnatural for me.  That is why I even said I wouldn't even rule out it being my new chair, or something to that matter.  

Also in massage school they train you right away to always end the massage with making sure to thank the person for coming, sending back their energy, and taking back your own because they know there is a mix of energies whether you are trained in an energy modality or not.  So why should I not question the cause of my own hands taking on black ink like energy?  I mean I have picked up clients headaches, bodyaches from their energy when massaging them, and such when I have found my self distracted and not grounded and protected well, why should I not look for answers as to the cause of this?

I am/was asking what does darkness mean, when we are mostly only taught of light?  Blackness that I have been taught previously has only ment, evil, sickness, death, lack of energy (not without energy, just lack of it)

Each time I tune in and get info, I get that the person, who is wired to use energy differently, what I might call a "black hole" (reference to black holes in space that "suck" in energy and things around them) will be pulling in the energy of thing around them.  If comfort29 has crystals programmed and charged in the room, the energy could be absorbed.  If that is not desirable, then just take the crystals out of the room.  That is the info I was getting.  
There is always a possibility I am wrong.  

I had a friend several years ago, and his aura was a black ooze...reminded me of wet tar.  His was thick, to the point of staining the surrounding area he slept in.  And it rubbed off on others and the couch (He was crashing at a buddy's house and using the sofa to sleep on).  No one would sit next to him or on that couch, because it would ooze off and onto them, causing all sorts of bad feelings and such.

My expierence with him, was that he projected it to himself, and no course we took with energy work or whatever changed it at all.  It was how he placed himself.  When I had first met him, he was not like that.  He then felt himself lost, no place, at the bottom, and he did drugs and drank.  All of these things added up and did that to him.  I have heard that he still hasn't pulled his way out of it.

I know that several of us tried to do something, from being there for him to helping him in any way that we could.  None of it worked, and if one could not see it, one would not really know.  To strangers he seemed relatively normal.  

Maybe your client has situations in her life that ooze her into that sticky blackness.  If so, I'm afraid I don't know how to help as I couldn't even help my friend.

Hope all ends up well though, as it is not a pleasant thing to come in contact with  Cleansing yourself would benifit you.
