My friend has colon cancer and his wife is a reiki healer (and a very good one).
I have colon cancer and went for the operation (successfully), he is dying I'm cured, you tell me which works. Brutal but true.
Perhaps if she had used reiki in conjuntion with traditional medical techniques he would not have the pain and discomfort I have but only a reiki person could say. |
Lovely to see you back posting more
I like to think of reiki as a complimentary therapy not an alternative one. I know many people who do not trust doctors and who will not have traditional options of surgery and chemo etc, and that is there perrogative.
I thiink it is unfair though to take such emotional examples and say that reiki doesnt work, or that operations do.
Reiki can help in many ways, though sadly it really can depend on the person giving the reiki session.
