Hey guys, I just wanted to enter my input on this topic.

I recently have been practicing the creation of psi balls and such; but those things are illogical. It has occured to me that Reiki actually makes sense in a scientific view, but I can't reveal as to how it does make sense, or otherwise Reiki won't work.

It's based on a very simple concept, that can be used to heal people of terrible diseases where traditional medicine would be effectively useless, it uses the body's own natural energy to heal itself at a tremendous rate.

I've heard a story of Reiki curing cancer, and I've even confirmed it; so as for people asking if Reiki is real or not, trust me - from a logical point of view, it absolutely makes sense, and this is coming from a person that doesn't believe in a deity  

Anywho, just my two cents.

I think that you will find that reiki will 'work' whether or not anyone believes in it or understands what is is and where it comes from.

The science of reiki has been much investigated, measured and experimented with. There are many studies that prove there is an energy that can be emitted from the human body and passed to other things. It can easily, well...not easily lol, but it can be scientifically explained using quantum physics.

If one can understand that the body is what made itself ill, the brain cells and electrical impulses and nervous systems all playing a part in the cause of disease, then it really isn't that far to believe that those same structures and networks can correct imbalances and heal oneself too

I agree with Gem. I use reiki and can feel it working. When I use it on people they feel it too. I kind of understand the concept of energies because everything living is made of energy and it can be manipulated.

Starry you have to investigate (if you haven't already that is) Celtic Reiki and the energy of trees plants and water.

I have not investigated that yet but it sounds really interesting, Gem.
