 I am new to this and am just learning about Reiki. I am goin thru the worst....hmm my lover has left me due to parental pressures(his parents are South Indian and i am North Indian). We been together for 4 years...and we love each other very much. Though i am born in the states, i am traditional...and even am a vegetarian. If i am alive another month, i will be 27. I am very dejected in life becus i have been goin thru this hell for the past 2 years.....i feel like he's gone forever becus he has turned into a stone. I am wondering if Reiki can help break down his stone-heart, so that the guy i fell in love with, can realize again how powerful our love truly is. We have a soulmate connection....i can feel him, wherever he may be. My mind is distracted therefore i can do only so much to help myself avoid suicide. I am praying for you guys to do distant reiki, for him....i will give his details and picture of us if you send me email. PLease help.

Reiki is best given to a person whom will accept it.  I'm not saying your boyfriends higher self would reject the energy but I feel it just wouldnt be appropriate for anyone to do it.  Reiki although would be wonderful for you in your position.  Asking for help to open someone elses heart is taking away that persons free will and only those with a darker heart (blach magic, psychics, witches etc) would ever try to make somone else fall in love or change their position and beliefs.

I know it can be hard to see it now but the person who would truly benefit from reiki would be yourself.  To help your heart heal.  The best thing you can do now is to leave your love with your boyfriend and wait to see if he comes back to you.  You should never want a person to feel they have to, or they may owe you through guilt etc,  I believe you would want him to return to you because it is his wish and love that brings him back.  The only way he may be able to realise this is to miss you enough to know what he wants.  This may mean letting him know you still love him deeply and are giving him room to be with his thoughts and then just take it day by day yourself.

Dont put your life on hold though, live and love, learn and play and see what each day brings you.

Have you spoken with some close friends about your feelings and thoughts of suicide?  It really is not worth taking a life over love.  I believe you are such a whole wonderful person and that your life is so much more important than a difficult break up.  You have so many new options.  Years and years ahead of you to find love and have a family, children, a fantastic job anything you want.  I know it is hard now and I think you should find someone close to you to confide in.  Always know though that there are many of us here for you to talk to and should you wish for some reiki for yourself then please ask.

I don't think ur an Indian, therefore you could not understand how difficult parents can be. My love ran after me, infact he loves me very much.....r u kidding me abt making him love me....he asked for my hand in marriage...and was ready to marry me, his parents came here and brainwashed him and told him they would disown him if he married me.....you cannot understand the pressures of an Indian marriage....they believe in caste system....crazy things like that. anyway...watever

No I'm not indian but that doesnt mean I'm unable to know about pressures from parents and family because I do, most people can.   I do not understand your particular pressures as nobody can except you. I am not in your position and I'm not talking about making him love you and I dont doubt you when you say he does.  That single part was meant to be understood when others use black magic and other things like that, it was a warning that if someone said they would do that for you then you would know they came from a place that was not good.

I was saying using reiki to 'open his heart' as you asked would not work that way.  Reiki can not change the way his parents feel and the way he chooses to react to their wishes and that is what you are saying is blocking him from openly loving you and being with you.

In my opinion, after reading the thread, you might find everything you accuse angelwings for in yourself, and it looks like you are asking for help under those conditions that they have to suit your own opinions, if they don't,then they are crap.

Sorry, but you shall get a free advice from me too.....start to work on yourself....you might need it....way to much anger.
