I had reiki dine the other day and the Reiki master said that I shifted during the session. What does this mean?

Also what does it mean when they say that theyu are taking you to the upper world?

Not sure I can help with this since the Reiki I practice is very traditional and doesn't use new age types of vocabulary and explainations.

She is probably talking about some sort of 'energy' shift, likely to a 'higher' vibration.

I always take these things with a grain of salt.

As for the taking one to an 'upper world' I have no idea you should ask the practitioner about this (and the energy shift) to understand what they mean. Not everyone uses the same 'dictionary' when it comes to these things. (meaning that one person's 'rose' could be another person's 'skunk' )

Maybe it means that you shifted into a higher pullof the Reiki energy.
You have it flowing through you all the time, even people that are not attuned.
It is like a faucet of water, sometimes there is just drops coming out, and other times it is a waterfall.
SO you shifted higher to a better flow of the energy:)

I would think some of the energy blocks in your energy field were removed
Reiki energy helps our own energy to soften and flow more easily

as to the reference to the upper world, that is sometihng I associate with shamanic work

I would translate it to you being open to your soul/higher self more and more

Thanks to everyone for your reply to my query. It is a little clearer in my own head. However, I'm going to ask my Reiki master the next time we meet and she should be able to shed a little more light on the matter. When I find out, I'll let you know what she meant exactly!!!
