Dear Princess,
To be honest I have never had much success in locating missing pets for my friends through an actual, formal reading.
And would such a reading qualify as being third party (about anyone other than you), when compared to me intuitively attempting to find a missing inanimate object such as a watch or a mobile phone?
In the absence of a reading, I wanted to instead use logic and deduction as the means of helping you to locate your much loved absent family member.
The first thought which came to mind was that it could be the breeding season and you should be perhaps looking at any neighbours who own a bitch which is in heat, but according to the extreme weather reports currently coming out of your neck of the woods, breeding would be taking a much lower priority at the moment against surviving the sub zero temperatures.
Your pet obviously knew his way around well enough to run away, and I do not feel that that it is likely that he has been stolen or abducted, as he is not from what you have told us of a pure breed with a pedigree and high resale value.
Has he ever strayed or escaped from your home or from your care and supervision, when you were exercising him before now? In other words has he done this before on more than one occasion? Approximately how old is the animal, and was he in relatively good condition and health when he disappeared on Sunday?
MangoMum is correct in her belief that most dogs seem to have an incredible but mysterious ability to find their home or owners, even,, if they are now separated by hundreds or thousands of kilometres from them.
However in your case I feel that your dog is still somewhere within the general area in which you walk him during his daily exercise sessions. There seems to be no credible reason why he would go any further from his home territory, unless he is one of those dogs who would follow anyone home to get a free feed, or just to make a new friend.
Of course nothing can replace you advertising that he is lost by putting up flyers around your local area (if it is still allowed), including a recent photo, contact phone number and possibly a moderate financial reward with the intention to increase your chances that anyone who finds him will feel that it is worth contacting you.
With it still being less than a week since he first went missing, I am also fairly confident that he will be returned to you by a close neighbour of yours.
Has he been micro chipped and/or was he wearing a medallion to identify him against a central register or database? Any of this information may be of great practical value to any authorities or animal welfare organisations which you conscript with the intention to help you to find your wayward pet ASAP.
I sincerely hope that you will have some good news to tell us about your pet very soon. Please be sure to keep us updated under this thread. Because this is not to be regarded in any way as a reading, the invitation is still open to anyone who feels drawn to giving you a reading about this upsetting incident.
God bless the both of you,
EoT
