Next month I'm already going to take my certification exam, I just want to have an advice or reading on how could I possibly be more prepared for the exam. I've been getting sick lately, but I am praying that I would be well and can still be prepared for the exam.

Thanks, and I appreciate your help.

Akido,

There is such a thing as you trying too hard and allowing this certification exam become your sole focus in life, to the total exclusion of all others. I have already given you a reading about exactly this subject on July 11th of this year, and since readings given by me on this forum are accepted to refer to a period of approximately six months after your request was made and the exam itself is now upon you (?), your July reading still has three months left to run. Any predictions or insights made in your July reading will become immediately irrelevant on the day of the examination, and the purpose of the reading is over.

Your reader and reading do understand just how important this exam is to you from a future career and possible promotion at some stage in the future if that is what you wish to pursue, but your high level of anxiety is likely either to be causing much of your illness, or at the very least significantly contributing to an underlying and yet undiagnosed medical condition which can only be accurately identified and treated by a qualified medical doctor.

Are you attempting too often to burn your midnight candle at both ends and study long into the night, and even worse use some type of substance in order to force yourself to stay awake, which could include several strong cups of black coffee each night? Are you eating properly and are you being careful that you are not suffering the effects of dehydration, which both alcohol and coffee will only make considerably worse if your body which is about 70% water is deprived of this life giving substance for only one day? And as the day of reckoning draws ever closer, what if anything is happening in all the other areas of your life which are not directly related to you passing this test and hopefully being awarded your professional credentials as a result of all your hard work and sacrifice?

You have asked my inner source how you could possibly be better prepared for the exam when the day arrives. The answer to that question does not include doing anything further which could possibly jeopardise your health, and place you under a higher level of stress than you are already placing yourself under.

And that is the most important message behind this top up reading. A large slice of the stress and anxiety is coming from within you. You and you alone are the person who is doing these things to yourself. In your tunnel vision approach to showing everyone that you have what it takes to make the grade, you are heaping totally unrealistic expectations upon yourself to the extent that there is nobody presently alive on this planet who could even come close to reaching the unreachable standards which you are setting for yourself on a daily basis leading up to the event.

Now prayer is good but without you at the same time taking good care of yourself and effectively cutting yourself off from your friends and family members for months at a time, you could be with the very best of intentions be making yourself extremely vulnerable to a stress related disorder which could have serious negative consequences for your peace of mind and health well into the future, when this upcoming exam is already only a distant memory.

What is the whole point of you passing this exam if you lose yourself in the process? What practical and/or financial use is this qualification or certificate going to be to you and any of your dependent from a permanent hospital bed, or an early grave? There are no gold stars being given out to people these days who turn themselves into martyrs or professional victims, and ignoring or denying other equally or more important areas of your life while you are preparing for this exam is not going to leave much worth living for when it is finally over.

You are as prepared for this exam from the usual perspective as you will ever be (probably over prepared in my opinion), but your studying is only a relatively small part of what is best felt to be your most effective preparation strategy. All the studying, positive thinking and prayer is likely to come to nothing if you continue to indefinitely put the rest of your life on hold and do not also take good care of yourself in the lead up to the day of the exam.

From a studying view point you are I sense over prepared, but from these other perspectives you are I feel terribly under prepared. Stop trying so hard to compete with your work colleagues, as their reasons and purposes for living are completely different, although they are neither more nor less important than your own. Instead of aiming for 100% all of the time, lower your sights or expectations slightly to the up to 90% some times level. Killing yourself and your other hopes and dreams with the intention to extract the remaining approximate ten percent is not going to get you recognised as suitable promotion material.

It is also not calculated to get you a golden key pass to heaven. By all means do whatever is reasonable to make yourself as well prepared for the exam as you are capable of being without ruining your health, social and love life along the way, but going beyond that would be it is felt a lightly concealed form of spiritual suicide. While your education, job and career are obviously of great importance to your life's mission and your soul's destiny do not put all of your eggs in the same basket.

This physical universe, planet, and the entire human race as well as the workforce and stock market will one day no longer exist, but you will need to continue to live comfortably with and answer to your soul if you happen to miss the timely warning contained within this reading about the critical importance of getting your life perspectives back into better balance, virtually for all eternity. You are of far more value than only what professional qualifications you may have earned or what job you are currently doing to the other important people in your life. Let alone to your God.

Prepare as much as is reasonable, safe and healthy for the exam, but do not forget that in the end it is the nature of your closest relationships with those people whom you love (and whom love you in return) as well as with any of your enemies by which your life's success or failure will be judged, and hopefully if this message is listened to and acted upon in enough time, not found wanting in this department. Your work certificate is not going to count one iota in your favour when you eventually reach the pearly gates, and you are asked by the angels to explain how you left the world a little better off than when you first entered it, because for a lifetime you lived in it.

Be kinder to yourself, and in combination with your studying be as a consequence better prepared than ever for the approaching examination, as well as for the rest of your remaining years, and for the purposes of your soul's maximum growth and development. Compare the vital importance of those things which are eternal to one piece of paper which tells everyone just how smart and skilled you are in your necessarily limited area of understanding and your ability to do your job well and on time. Get these things back into a more balanced perspective; before it is too late for you to do so.

Thanks, I might be pushing too hard already because of too much anxiety, but I have too relax and be confident during the exam. The insight you gave me will help me to do so.  I am continuing my treatment with my doctor and also praying that after my biopsy it would turn out negative of serious illness.

Whatever is the eventual outcome of your exam as well as the biopsy, even in the relatively short time I have come to know you better through these readings, I have watched you grow stronger day by day within yourself, on many different levels at the same time.

Your anxiety about both of these upcoming events is perfectly normal, and to a certain extent a healthy sign that you are in touch with your feelings. Many people on the other hand appear to be completely disconnected from their own feelings: but not you.

This gives me increasing confidence that whatever happens to you from now on that you will take it in your stride, and that you will not allow it to hold you back from discovering who you truly are for very long.

It is my privilege to have met you, as you may never fully comprehend while you still occupy a physical body, just how much our life paths are similar to one another in so many different respects (including personality wise).
