As my subject for the requests asks, I'm not sure if I'm eligible to post as soon again in this forum, I hope I have not interpreted the forum rules incorrectly.

I'm still so happy that I found this site, I've found this very resourceful and uplifting...and up until this stage particularly thankful to EOT's person and wealth of knowledge and wisdom.

My question this month is what really is one's purpose and life's mission here? I've read of needing to learn lessons to evolve and other related concepts but I'd like to ask about a "blue print"? Is there really one for each person, and if so I would love to ask about mine in a form of a reading. What would be fine, how do i find it and will I know that I'm on path?

Hello again to my good friend Karabo,

The forum rules suggest that there will be a minimum period of one month between consecutive reading requests, only where the previous request was responded to with a reading.



Your previous request on this forum was posted and responded to by me on August 24th, so if I regarded this response to be an actual reading and not simply psychic advice, then you would not become eligible to post this next one until at least September 24th (in approximately 13 days from now.).

I have thought about this in some detail, but cannot decide how much of that response was a reading, and how much of it was friendly advice. However I noticed on reading it again that I promised to give Cassie or Cascade of Light the opportunity to give you either an Akashic or past life reading about the same subject, when your month had passed.

It was clear that you were to some degree disappointed that I recommended that you should try the WHO AM I? meditation method instead of me telling you who I feel you are through a reading, but you said that you would give it a fair trial period anyway regardless of your disappointment.

I did this because I believed and still do that such information gained directly through your own experiences is always superior or better when compared to getting it indirectly from someone else. Since I already know that you are a genuine seeker of wisdom and understanding concerning both your life purpose and mission as well as the possible past lives you may have had which are relevant to carrying out your life mission, I tend to treat my August response as 90% advice and only 10% a formal reading.

I therefore have no problems with opening up your current request to offer Cassie or Cascade of Light the first opportunity to give you an Akashic or past life reading, but only if she feels drawn to doing so, before I am prepared to deal with this subject any further.

I would only do so in combination with your feedback from your meditation experiences with that question - WHO AM I? The recommended  minimum period between consecutive requests about the same subject is six months and not one month, but once again this is only if your earlier request was responded to with a reading.

The answers which you are seeking are normally learned over an entire lifetime or over several lifetimes. There are just as many valuable lessons to be learned by you from the process of seeking these answers, as there ever will be from you eventually being given them.

OK let us first offer Cassie the respect due to her by giving her the first choice as to whether she feels that a past life reading would be either advisable or helpful to you at this stage. I will personally send her an invitation to do this via a private message.

Once I have received my learned colleague's and fellow team member's answer to this on the forum or through her own PM, and she is under no obligation to take up this offer, then I will let you know about it under this thread as to what I am prepared to do myself in this direction.

Hi Karabo and EOT,

I have gone over both threads again now and you know, I do wonder if there may have been a minsunderstanding. For instance, Karabo, if you had made this post in the main Psychic Forum then I would have had no problem answering it even though you received a lot of care and an in depth response from EOT in your reading thread barely two weeks ago.

I am not totally sure that you are after a past life reading rather than just on a quest for pure knowledge?

Let me throw some thoughts out there whilst we all decide?

Blueprints - personally I do not believe in these. I have seen no proof of them over my experiences and in fact I find the idea rather insulting, especially to those of us who are suffering in any way. I do not believe we chose our paths and those terrible or painful experiences that we all run into just to evolve and learn. To me the idea of a pre-destined life is ridiculous. Man has free will, we can change, we can inprove and we can choose. Man is also much more clever than that, we do not need to experience to learn, we can do that in many ways or just by watching or empathising or by reading a book. However, some people do believe in them, so the choice is up to you.

I think that a lot of people new to the concept of spirituality start of by wondering what their purpose is in life, what they are here to do, what are their reasons for being her. As the quest for knowledge is satisfied and the person develops and understands more then the search for a reason dwindles as it becomes non essential before it disappears from mind leaving behind a clearer view of life and all it's possibilities.

But the idea of blueprints does run along with the idea of having a pre-destined goal or reason for being here, so again I leave that up to you.

With regards to past lives, I agree in part with EOT's views about the validity of giving these kinds of readings to a stranger over the internet. It needs a careful choice of words and interpretation as well as an intuitive or perhaps psychic insight, to ensure that the seeker understands and gains peace and hope and happiness from the reading rather than anything else. Usually there will nearly always be a definite reason for the request and if this isn't obvious then it usually becomes obvious after further discussion, perhaps on the forum, perhaps by PM. Then once that is established it is rather more easier to read the person and help support them in this way. Often giving them a heartfelt peace about something that has bothered them for a long time.

I feel that your concerns are typical of an over eager mind that is searching for answers, excited and enthusiastically wanting to know more, and not wanting to wait or persevere to get there. Inward meditation is a brilliant way to start. I noted your comments about having to do all the work too and they made me smile. The act of consciously calming and stilling the mind helps us to break down the barriers between the conscious and awake mind and the sub-conscious or dreaming mind. There are no short cuts, only time and practise will achieve the desired result. Humility and patience are two key factors in spiritual growth, along with faith and trust.

So take a moment and try and figure out what you truly want?  Do you want  answers, in which case you can ask a dozen a day over in the main forum or do you want a reading that means no more than one a month? What do you think is the difference?

Firstly thank you both for your replies, really appreciated and comforting. I suppose ultimately what I'm looking for is just answers about life, a knowing and an experience, and using my available options in exploring that, of which this community is proving to be one of the most significant at this stage. Maybe then some of my posts and questions would have been more appropriate on other forums, just think I may have gotten too familiar with this particular one and been happy with the kind of responses I have been receiving.

In the highest sense I suppose some of what I'm requesting can rightfully be satisfied by my own inspiration and not from the next person, it's too much to expect from anyone. My insistent asking has come out of a deep desire, perhaps even need to know what I should be doing with my life that would be most fulfilling and meaningful, and wanting ofcourse genuine, assuring spiritual experiences along the way.

I wasn't born with overwhelming spiritual gifts lol, meaning I've not seen or heard anything, but as far as I'm aware have always wanted to, so I'm not sure if I'll have those experiences when I've learned to meditate, which in my mind I question if I'll ever have these questions answered satisfactorily in a sense that it will be in a form of communication I understand.

In other words my respected reading team member (Cassie) was absolutely correct in saying that there are no shortcuts in this Cosmic classroom in which we all find ourselves, whether we like it or not.



It was with this important principle in mind that I offered you the meditation exercise as a starting point for your voyage of self discovery.

I sincerely hope that it will gradually open up to you new doors of spiritual perception and increased self understanding, as it did with me all those many years ago.

Just as much of lasting value is learned in this life from the journey which we make from the cradle to the grave, as is ever gained from finally reaching its destination.

Come to think of it: probably much more is learned along the way.

However with the above things having been said I feel that your initial posting was neither a coincidence nor a total waste of our time and energy, as it unknowingly signalled the beginning of the next important learning phase of your life, as well as establishing a firm foundation on which our close working relationship on either of the two forums and our friendship should only grow and mature as time moves on.

If there is such a thing as destiny then I feel that our meeting (which now includes Cassie) was an integral part of what the Universe has in store for you in the future, and was therefore anything but a random or chance event.

I feel in contrast that it marks a major turning point or cross roads in your overall spiritual education, as possibly for the first time you have been confronted with the truth that to a certain extent we are each continuously creating our personal destinies, mainly through the series of conscious decisions which we make in the present moment - our only true point of personal power to have some influence over whatever the future brings us.

Thank you for the great privilege of allowing me to share this deeply personal and potentially life changing experience with you.
