Hi i'm christina, i'm 31 born on july 29, 1980. I have a couple specific questions if you r up to it I'd appreciate your time if you could give me a reading?
1) do i have a psychic ability to hear/feel spirits?( i have a reason for asking but dont want to feed)
2) i've chosen a spiritual path in my life which is controversial to some will my family come around?

Hi Christina,

Your first question cannot be satisfactorily answered through a psychic reading.

I can only pick up that you are more psychically sensitive than the average person is, and would possibly therefore feel or hear spirits in locations where others might not.

We all have the ability to see, feel, hear and spiritually sense the presence of spirits in varying amounts as a direct consequence of us being both a spiritual and human being at the same time. We each have both a physical body which has its senses (sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell) and a spiritual body of light which has much more than five of its own spiritual senses  (clear seeing, clear hearing, clear sensing, psychic intuition, clear smelling, sensing other spiritual bodies including those which are not currently associated with a corresponding physical one...........)

This spiritual ability can best recognised and further developed by someone else who is a medium in your local area, in a regular development circle or group with other aspiring mediums. The important question which you must ask yourself is as to whether or not you want to sense spirits around you. What you should do from then on greatly depends on your answer to this vital question. It must always in the end remain completely your conscious decision as to whether you want to or would like to further develop your own mediumistic abilities. If you are for some reason unable to locate a good medium and teacher in your local area and have decided to develop your abilities to sense spirits Spiritalk is probably the best person to contact about this on Mystic Boards. Either send her a private message or post your questions to the Mediumship Understanding and Development forum which she is responsible for overseeing.



In order for me to answer your second question I would both need to directly read every one of your family member's thoughts and intentions towards you using your ability to see spirits through a third reading, which is not allowed under the forum rules which have been put in place by this site's owner for a very sound reason.

I also suspect that their attitudes towards you using your abilities are highly related to their religious beliefs and their church's teachings on the subject of communicating with the dead. If using your gifts makes you happy and that your life has a higher reason and purpose and makes you feel closer to your and their God, if your happiness is their highest priority then there is a very good chance that they will ultimately get past their fears and discrimination against you further exploring and developing your mediumistic gift. If you decide not to explore, develop or in any way use these abilities in the future, then it really should not be an issue at all.

Yes i am definately interested in honing my abilities but at times i admitt it can be a bit scarey when i hear or fel things...lol but thanks again i will try to contact spirittalk also.

You are very welcome.

It is quite understandable that you should be feeling a mixture of interest as well as anxiety about sensing spirits and using your gift of mediumship, and there is certainly no need for you to be apologizing to anyone (least of all myself), as taking that first step of posting to this forum must have required a lot of courage for you to do so.

It has not been so long since I first came to Mystic Boards for me to forget how intimidating I found doing this to be, so please do not think that I have no understanding at all of how difficult it was for you to take the plunge so to speak and reveal something about yourself which you may not have been comfortable discussing with people living close to you.

That is exactly what this website and online spiritual community is all about - people helping other people with their psychic/spiritual questions and problems in a friendly and non judgmental manner.

It was precisely that feeling of becoming part of a community and of this being a safe home away from home which drew me to MB forums over four years ago, and I sincerely hope that you will find all you are looking for here in addition to making many new and lasting friendships along the way.
