How are you?? May I ask a favour, a reading?

Just a general one would be great. I am interested in career and love (who isn't!). But anything general(ist) that comes to you will do.

Thanks ahead  of time

Hi Lola,

Because of my current heavy reading load plus Thursdays being my regular weekly day off on account of my good behaviour for the rest of the week, I will probably not get around to giving you this general reading until at least early Friday morning South Australian time.

Oh BTW if you believe for one moment that I behave well for the rest of the week, then in my opinion you will believe anything.

Such spotless or exemplary behaviour is simply not part of my playful nature

Read for you Friday,

EoT

Hello again Lola,

On returning from my day off, I realised that I need to ask you to confirm whether the date of birth displayed in your forum profile is indeed correct.

After receiving your response under this thread, I plan to give you a numerology reading about what is seen to be your optimum career direction.

Could you please also answer the following questions as part of your response, in order to better help me to help you, when you are deciding about your current job or next job?

1. Please confirm that your DOB is correct.

2. Are you presently working, unemployed or studying?

3.  What type of job are you doing now, or looking for? What jobs have you done in the past?

4. What were your most successful and well liked school subjects?

5. What are your hobbies or leisure time interests when you are not working, that could be turned into an alternate or supplementary source of income if and/or when they are needed for you to remain financially secure?

I will watch out for your response to these five questions at your earliest possible convenience.

My apologies about the delay in not being able to see ahead of this time that I would need this extra information, and by so doing unintentionally delay giving you your reading.

Lola,

(2+3)+(9)+(1+9+8+3)=35

3+5=8

Your DOB of 23/09/1983 means that according to basic numerology as well as my calculations, your Life Path Number (LPN) is EIGHT.

What greatly surprised and to be completely honest mystified me about your LPN is that I have only just given a numerology career reading to another member of this forum (Ripat) whose DOB is slightly different (27th of May in the same year), but with an identical calculated LPN to your own.

So both of you are it appears walking a similar life path, although your main interests and most likely to be successful careers are probably poles apart from each other. Whereas Ripat's greatest strengths are in the areas of science and mathematics, you are in contrast more of the artistic, creative type and therefore your optimum career direction would be expected to bear little if any resemblance to hers. Or as a second thought I could be unintentionally doing Ripat a great injustice as cooking can be both artistic and creative, so perhaps you are not really so different after all.

This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that two people having the same Life Path Number does not automatically mean that they will go on to express themselves and get a job in the same areas simply because the numbers appear to be telling us that this must be the case. And neither Ripat nor yourself came into this world as blank slates, personality and temperament wise. Which is precisely why you would each be expected to respond very differently to similar life experiences.

To save myself from having to write down the same information in both places separately, I have copied and pasted it from Ripat's posting into your own.

Quote:
Your LPN is thought to tell us what what were your main personality strengths and weaknesses at the exact moment of your birth, as well as indicating your major life lessons or challenges this time around. Because this character profile is attributed to the average person walking the number 8 life path and you are anything but average, it is possible that only a few of these will apply to you.

In addition because so much has happened to you during the 28 years since you first entered this current lifetime (your total life experience), your personality, life lessons and challenges may be quite different from those at the time of your birth, so my advice is to only use the insights gained from this reading in an advisory capacity, and only in combination with information obtained from other non intuitive and/or professional sources.

With special reference to you choosing your optimum career direction, again I must caution you that just because your favored job may not appear on the following list, this does not necessarily mean that you would not be successful at doing it.

I would be most upset if you used the reading negatively in order to totally rule out perfectly valid jobs which you are interested in and those which you possibly have a natural aptitude for doing. Also in spite of a particular job being included on this list, in the end it must always remain your decision as to whether you wish to explorer it any further. I will not be in any way offended if you do decide not to accept the advice.

The average number 8 person's main life lessons and challenges are often centred around his or her urgent and ongoing need to feel an increasing sense of financial security for the future. It is frequently difficult for a number 8 to take someone else's advice. He or she usually prefers to learn these lessons the hard way, through direct first hand experience. Eights are honest but they can at times be too honest for their own good and more than a little insensitive to other people's feelings.

They are blessed with natural leadership skills, and are on average highly ambitious and performance driven. They are good organizers, and usually have a good head for numbers and for running their own business. Responsible money management, both of of their own and of other people's money, can be one of their greatest strengths and potential means of earning an honest living. Usually their life purpose is learning to manipulate money and power, without becoming corrupted in the process.

Optimum careers or jobs for an LPN 8 individual would include, but not be confined to the following short list.

Business management
Finance
Real Estate
Law
Science (particularly history, archaeology and physics)
Publishing
Management of large institutions, including the government and military
Politics
Social work
Teaching
Local government
Civil service
Sports (coach)
Journalist

Looking back at the information which you provided in response to those questions, it does appear that working with and managing numbers and money are going to be your major life priority and strength for some considerable time yet. Both your interests and well developed gifts in the areas of mathematics and science are consistent with the findings of this reading.

Ripat's best school subjects included science, while you dislike science and would therefore probably not find a job which deals with scientific theories and the search for absolute truths particularly consistent with your artistic personality. The possible reasons for this difference in direction between you could be partially due to what life experiences you have each had since you were born only months apart, as well as how you responded to those experiences.

Either you changed your main interests and career direction because you knew someone close to you who was scientifically and mathematically inclined and you did not want to imitate them, or  you are both exploring two different aspects of what it means to be a number 8. And neither Ripat nor yourself came into this world as blank slates, personality and temperament wise.

I sense through the reading that both factors could potentially be at work in your two lives but it is difficult for me to say based exclusively on only one reading which of the two factors has had the greatest influence in making you follow such a different path from Ripat's.

In addition to this I feel that your two so called main life missions could have caused you each to divert in these apparently different directions. Being highly ambitious and performance driven could to a certain degree be an asset to you when working in an office. So would well developed organizational skills and keeping your head in a crisis. Responsible money management could similarly go in your favour, especially if money is tight.

It is as though Ripat and yourself are working on opposite sides of the same coin with your main jobs. Yet in your own uniquely different ways you are each exploring the areas of creativity and art. I am consequently hesitant to offer you any more detailed interpretation as to where each of your differences to each other lie, but my impression for what you may think that it is worth is that you will become even more different from Ripat's personality and career direction as time moves forwards. I am almost certain that you will not become more like each other.

While it is still a possibility, I believe that the probability of you becoming two peas in the same symbolic pod anytime in the short to medium term future are about the same as the probability that I as an Australian citizen could go on to become the President of the United States. Not much chance of that happening in my current lifetime, any way.

What this means for you continuing to work in a high pressure business, office environment your reading cannot tell me, but I suspect that you could do well at whatever you set out to do as long as you have put both your heart and soul into doing it well, and as long as it gives you enough, regular income to be able to afford to do what seems important to you, when you are not earning your living or actually at work.

You may need to pursue most of your artistic interests during your leisure time, but work in an office during the day in order to raise enough money to afford your art interests when you are not at your place of employment. You might even eventually do something "arty, crafty" as a secondary string to your bow, to supplement the income which you already get from your main day job at the office.

Sadly for both of our interests, that is where your reading ends for this month.

Respectfully yours,

EoT
