Welcome Mr.Kr0w (it sounds terribly formal to have to use your title)
You are hardly alone in not knowing exactly what question you wish to ask your reader, so there is really no need to apologise.
Actually I prefer to give a general reading (one in which my inner guidance gets to choose the subject or question) to all new members for their first reading with me, as well as to those more veteran members who have returned to us after a long time away from the site.
The normal question which I ask for all my general readings goes something like that which follows.......
| Quote: |
| What is felt to be most important and/or urgent for this person to know at this particular moment of their life? |
Please be aware that all readings (general or otherwise) given by me on this forum are only thought to apply to the period of the next six months or so after your request was made.
-------------------Your general reading begins here-------------------------
Your theme card for this month's reading either is or was the
King Of Swords (KOS).
All members of the Swords Tarot suit (including the KOS) are associated with a person actively taking deliberate and well thought out action to make whatever improvements in his life are required for him to be able to move forwards again or further.
This is NOT the suit which best represents a person who is willing to simply wait and see what might happen without any further effort on his part to help himself. A Swords person does not like to leave everything to chance or random good luck, but instead creates his own good luck, primarily through a series of wise conscious decisions which he makes in the present moment.
Any of the four Kings in the Tarot on the other hand are thought to symbolise your passion, your ability and willingness to keep going in the face of adversity, as well as generating and maintaining forward motion or significant positive progress.
The important point about Kings are that they often make exceptionally gifted and inspiring leaders who are able to attract plenty of people who are ready and able to follow them if they are treated with the respect which they deserve.
By himself without any loyal followers, all the Kings magnificent plans and ambitions are likely to come to little or nothing. But with the help and support of his loyal subjects, the King can accomplish great achievements which would have been impossible if he had not delegated or distributed the responsibilities or duties between them, showing them through his actions instead of just through his empty words that he thinks they are capable of doing a job well and on time.
Specifically with the KOS featuring in your reading, one thing that your critics cannot say about you is that you are not fair and reasonable in your dealings with them. Or should I place the extra condition on that statement that you come across as being a fair and reasonable man but sometimes only when it is felt to be in your own best interests to be fair and reasonable if you want their co-operation and help to get what you want.
The positive KOS man has a sense of nobility about him, and he is often a peacemaker of the highest calibre. However he also has a variable tendency to get bossy, insensitive and manipulative if those working under his supervision and guidance do not give him what he wants, when he wants it. Just as with every other fallible human being, the archetypal KOS type individual has both his personality strengths and weaknesses.
Join the club!
In summary based exclusively on this one isolated reading, it is felt that roughly between now and the end of January 2012 that you will be presented with one or more challenges, with the learning intention to test how well you are going at keeping your main personality strengths and weaknesses balanced against each other. According to how well you measure up on this sliding scale, your progress or distinct lack of progress during the next six months will be the result.
Resist if you are able for as much and as long as possible the inbuilt KOS character tendency to become bossy, sensitive, totally unfair and unreasonable and manipulative of those people who are under your care and supervision, or you just might end up working completely alone and not have a (excuse my English) hope in hell of achieving whatever you originally set out to do, simply because you did not exercise enough self control and patience with them when they were most vital and necessary to your personal cause or pet project.
Be kind to yourself,
EoT
