While anyone is free to decide to also post a picture with their request in this forum, personally I would prefer that you didn't, and the owner of this site obviously agrees with me.

After all, why have a forum which is especially reserved for pictures to be posted and read, if they can already be done just as well in any of the other non picture reading forums?

What follows is your general reading which I promised you only several hours before this.

When giving a general reading, it is left entirely up to my inner guidance to decide what it is felt is most important or urgent for you to know at this particular stage of your life, in any one specific life area. I always prefer to give a general reading when a member first registers as a member of Mystic Boards, or after returning from a long time away from the site, having originally registered a long time before this. Such a reading often effectively sets the scene or general theme of the ongoing main message for future more specific detailed readings, where you get to choose the subject or area of most current concern to you.

Oh dear!!!!!!  

I do not want you to prematurely panic or be unnecessarily afraid, but your first drawn and consequently your focus card for this general reading was The Tower.

As my chosen subject heading suggests this could be seen by you as being either very good news or on the other hand very bad news, or it could be interpreted instead as being somewhere in between the two extreme types of news.

Basically in a nutshell, having the Tower featuring in your reading frequently is believed by many readers to be a sign that most if not all of your life is about to be turned upside down, and that many of your most deeply held beliefs about the world around you and the people living in it are about to undergo an intense period of spring cleaning.

A time where old outworn ideas and beliefs of yours, which are not only no longer serving you any useful purpose but may in addition be preventing you from moving forwards with the next phase of your life are about to go under the microscope for detailed analysis, and be sorted through with the positive, self healing intention to eventually leave you with a set of beliefs which will best prepare you for future challenges and opportunities during the remaining years of your current lifetime.

There is a violent electrical storm with lightning striking and removing the Tower on the face of this card in the classical beginners Rider- Waite Tarot deck. The sky is jet black in color and very nasty looking, and there are people being hurled to their presumed deaths by falling from great heights from the tower's apex and falling into what appears to be a bottomless abyss.

As with most cards this one does tend to overstate its intended message for dramatic effect to make you sit up and take notice of what promises to be an "interesting and never boring" part of your life where your innermost, most deeply held beliefs about what is real or important in this life are shaken to their very foundations.

The Tower which some people actually like or welcome (while others fear it like the plague) usually predicts that you are about to or are already presently in the process of leaving one major stage of your growth and development as both a spiritual as well as a human being, and will soon enter a new and completely different phase where old worn out beliefs could be an unnecessary hindrance, obstacle or barrier to you gaining a better understanding and appreciation of yourself through direct first hand experience.

It could potentially represent the best or worst years of your life up until now. Which of the two it will be in your life is essentially up to you to decide, then act upon. If you are one of those people who tends to see every challenge as being a problem or a curse, then batten down your hatches as you have not seen anything yet.

If however you are one of those people who sees obstacles placed in your path on average as being valuable learning experiences and potential opportunities for significant personal and spiritual growth and development to make you a better and stronger person when compared to how strong you are now, the next phase of your life which is only now opening up to you will be a time of spiritual renewal and self healing which will eclipse any previous phase of your life up until the present moment.

If you allow your fears and self doubts to get the better of your powers of good judgement, you could possibly lose an almost once in a life time opportunity to make great strides towards realizing your full potential.

If in contrast you keep your courage and faith in yourself and your abilities to survive and thrive upon this major set of changes which are happening to you, virtually the sky is your limit as to what you are potentially capable of doing or achieving, when The Tower is on the ascendant in your Tarot spread as a symbol of a possible spiritual renewal and a possible huge leap forward on your personal journey towards attaining greater wholeness, (healing) on many different levels at the same time.

You will both survive and grow stronger within yourself as a direct result of undergoing this testing and resting phase coming up for you very soon, if it has not already arrived.

I would think that I am already in the middle of this shake up phase you are describing. It began almost three years ago now with the most devastating and life-shattering stuff you could imagine. I don't want to give details in case it affects future readings. I certainly hope I am not in for another shake-up, because I have barely managed to cope with this one!

I know what you mean about beliefs about the world and people undergoing a spring cleaning. I am in the middle of sort of a spiritual searching now. My beliefs are open to change because I am trying to decide and discover what is really the truth. It feels like I'm going round in circles though, and at the moment what has happened to me seems to confirm what I believed before to an even more intense degree! Things would have to seriously start changing in new ways for me in order for me to reshape my beliefs I think!

During such turbulent periods of change as these are we should perhaps be thankful for any small mercies which we are granted.

It is therefore I suppose some source of comfort that The Tower's potentially devastating effects on your sense of inner peace have already been spread out or diluted over at least the previous 36 months, instead of them all happening to you in the space of one year or less.

I tend to agree that providing me with too much detail about this and too early, could possibly be counterproductive for our future readings and discussions.
