Dear Mjean,
The
Three Of Pentacles which immediately establishes the focus or theme for this month's general reading is often called either the craftsperson's or artisan's card.
Being a member of the Pentacles (Coins in some alternate Tarot packs), it is normally associated with money itself, how you could better manage and conserve what money you already have, or how to earn more of it by honest means through your own labour.
Any of the four 3s in the Tarot are believed to represent the principle that often in this world of duality (meaning that many things exist as pairs of opposites), things which may never have been possible to accomplish when one of the members of the pair works individually and completed isolated from the other, may quickly and relatively easily become possible when both of them are present and work together in a unified and co-operative manner.
This principle can potentially apply to huge variety of situations, stretching from a man and woman becoming parents (no, this is not a prediction of pregnancy), two normally incompatible personalities working together on the same project, all the way to the one which most likely applies in your case: which is that in order to improve your regular income you may need to at least temporarily have two jobs to be able to earn enough income after taxes to be able to not only pay your bills, but have some money left over at the end of each week to do whatever makes you feel more fully alive.
The craftsperson's card specifically talks about the justifiable pride which the person to whom the card refers has in her work or artistic creations. She has often often made major sacrifices in other areas of her life in the search for excellence and attention to detail in whatever she creates, and it clearly shows through in the finished product. Not only does she constantly strive for perfection in what she does, but her clients admire and respect all the hard work and care that she has put into every hcustom designed object, and they are therefore likely to be willing to pay her handsomely to be the proud owner of something which is only going to increase in value because each is effectively special and unique.
Now the artistic or creative talent you may possess but only so far have used for a hobby or leisure time relaxation aid could in practice be virtually anything from making ornaments or jewellery of exceptional beauty, quality and durability, to sculpting a statue or doing an oil painting. The person may also be a writer or musician who has never developed their abilities to the point that they could actually use them as either an alternate source of income or to supplement what they already earn through their existing job.
This of course does not necessarily mean that something which you do not get paid for doing has no other value in itself, but this card featuring in your reading strongly suggests to me that you you may no longer have the luxury of not thinking seriously about developing your hobby into a job or business over the coming months. Which in turn suggests that you will have extra unforeseen expenses over this period, creating a cash shortfall.
What generally happens is that the person starts out small with limited capital, but continues to do her main job to give her the safety net while she can establish and promote her business and reputation amongst her potential future clientele. It appears that the focus for at least the next six months covered by this reading will be primarily in two key areas.
1. Market research - going out and getting a feel for what people want, and discovering some way to make your creations stand out when compared to those of your competitors. Finding some way to make them seem special, highly attractive and worth paying a premium price for?
2. Generating the necessary capital or getting a loan. Starting out on such a path frequently requires the willingness to take certain calculated risks, plus enough money to get you through the first year when especially if you need to pay someone else to manage your money on your behalf, could temporarily involve you making zero profit or even accepting a loss in the early stages to be able to turn a profit later.
Usually if your fledgling business survives the the first year, it has a very good chance to continue to grow and take on a life of its own. Ultimately if and/or when it reaches a certain point, it may be possible for you to replace your current job completely and to live exclusively off your profit margin minus any money owing to pay your original loan (if there was one).
But at this relatively early stage I would not if I were you be giving your boss two weeks notice and be burning your bridges prematurely. We are definitely getting ahead of ourselves to be confidently predicting that your new business's success is inevitable or set in stone. Do not count your business chickens before they have hatched? A dollar or pound or euro in your hand is surely worth more than ten of them, which only exist on paper.
In summary this reading is setting the scene for you to develop an artistic or creative hobby or leisure time to the extent that it can provide you with some extra money to supplement what you already earn from your existing day or night job. Over time the proportion of income which you make from this new business could increase to the stage that eventually it could become your exclusive or only source of income.
However during the first six months, your main challenges will be in generating or finding the capital or funds to finance your new business venture, following you having carried out your market surveys to determine whether the chances of success warrant you going out on a limb like this at your age and in your state of health.
The risks involved are great (it would be most unwise to deny that this is so), but if you are willing to do your homework properly beforehand and can manage to survive the first twelve months financially and otherwise, then there is every reason to hope that in twelve months time your weekly take home pay packet could be significantly fatter than it is now, and your credit debt burden could inversely be considerably reduced.
What you were not able to do or afford when you only had your existing means of earning an honest living, may now be a distinct and real possibility now that you have rediscovered and developed your latent talents to be able to make extra money to do with it what is important to you.
Hoping that you might have some more ideas than I do as to what this latent but potentially highly profitable hobby or leisure time activity of yours could be, as this month's general non birthday reading does not go anywhere near as far as exactly identifying it.
Love and Light always,
EoT
