Hi Peaceful,
Pardon me for butting in here, but I noticed that this is your second consecutive request for an Akashic reading within a period of approximately three days.

As Cascade of Light (Cassie) is the reader who exclusively offers this type of reading to MB members, could I please suggest that you might try sending a private message to my team colleague, containing only your first name and full date of birth, and if possible your reason for wanting it (if it is a good reason) as it might encourage any connection being made with the guardian of the Akashic Records?
This may significantly reduce any unnecessary delays in you getting the reading which you are after.
If I understand it correctly although you could choose to post this information directly to the forum which could BTW potentially be a security risk, Cassie requires this action of all her clients, in order to show their high level of commitment and seriousness in making the request.
Evidently it requires considerably more effort and time on her part to give it to you when compared to an average reading, and it is not therefore something to be done lightly just for fun or out of mere curiosity.
Some things in this world are I believe too sacred and precious and private to be treated in such a superficial manner. Your soul's evolution and life path is at the top of the list in my personal opinion of things which should permanently remain sacred.
Hoping that this helps,
EoT

Thanks EOT,
Peaceful Warrior did pm me and we are talking about his request, but because we hadn't finished our discussion I didn't post to the other topic, and so I think Peaceful Warrior posting again is just a simple misunderstanding.
Your point about Akashic Readings needing 'considerable more effort and time' is partly true. The reading material does not come from shuffling cards or asking guides, or reading residual energy or auras left in posts. I have to meditate in order to enter the Great Hall, so I cannot simply sit at my pc and give the reading. This means that I need a connection to ensure I have the right records, and so I ask for a first name and date of birth, and then a question to be sent to me via pm. This does also show some commitment on the part of the seeker, but even so some have never even responded back to me.
Not all requests are suitable for a reading like this, so sometimes I feel I must refuse and offer a different form of reading. Not all records are open to being read either. A person can block their own records, either intentionally or unintentionally, or sometimes they are blocked by others or by their beliefs or their guides or angels etc. These cases need to be worked through in a different way.
Recently I have had quite a bit of interest about these readings, and I wonder if it is a novelty factor that will wear off, or just a way to ask for another reading. It does concern me that a couple of requests infer that these readings are in some way better than other means, I do not agree with this at all. It is just a different, and very lovely, way of obtaining information.
Also I am concerned that some seekers ask for a reading every month like clockwork, sadly these seem to be the records I am not given access to, perhaps because the frequent readings mean the seeker is already gaining an insight and there is no need for more to confuse the issue. Inevitably most want me to look into the future, and as we both know the future is liable to change just by the asking of a reading, and then again when the content is read. This is as it should be, with the seeker continually growing and developing, but it may also lead to disappointment if not understood. It is better to ask for guidance, or advice and support about a situation or area than to make a fact finding demand which will nearly always have to be refused.
Thank-you for giving me the opportunity to say a little bit about where my path is taking me at the moment.
Cassie x

I fully agree with EOT about the sanctity of our soul's journey and not to be taken as a matter of 'fun'.
Without wishing to hijack this thread which started off as a reading request, but it has developed into an interesting point of dicussion whereby I agree with comments made, that most people view any form of reading as a reading for the future and not, in this instance, what purpose Akashic reading is supposed to serve. It is sad that we find it in most forums this extreme dependency on any form of divination just to get to know the future.... Sometimes getting to know ourselves is much better than getting to know the future, eh? Well, isn't it good sometimes to leave the future where Future should be?
I find this attitude not only in the tarot and psychic forums but also in the Picture Reading forum where people expect to be told things about what is 'to come'... Picture reading tells me something about the querent - past and present - and deriving from their personality traits perhaps empower them for the future.
My penny's worth
