Dear Mjean,
I don't know why your astrological sign is showing up as being Cancer instead of Leo, but as a reader who is not into astrology, it really does not worry me one iota. The only possible reason might be that your DOB is right on the cusp or transition point between Cancer (June 22nd - July23rd) and Leo (July 24th - August 23rd), and that therefore your expected personality and destiny could straddle and be a combination of both Sun signs. But Sun signs exclusively by themselves are a very rough guide any way to who we turn out to be in this current lifetime, or so I am lead to believe.
My biggest question however is why you should need to use your birthday coming up next month on the 26th as an excuse or reason for requesting a reading from someone who regards you as one of his closest friends first, and her reader second. I have also missed you, but I understand that just like myself you still have your own life to live and responsibilities outside of or beyond this website.
Honestly things are so busy with both of us these days that it seems a miracle to me that we ever happen to manage to be online at all, so my advice for what you may feel that it is worth would be not to worry yourself needlessly about things which are not under our control, and probably never will be. If only I practised what I preached, we would both be feeling a lot better than we are.
We are like two ships passing each other in the night, without often realising that the other person does not have his or her lights turned on at the time, so we miss communicating with them on that specific occasion. But the chances are excellent that our paths will eventually cross over each other again, as we are I believe sharing a similar journey or are heading for effectively the same destination as our friend. My time and energies are both low, but for my many internet friends I try to make time and energy available as needed whenever possible, and keeping within my own limitations.
Your focus card for this month is or was
THE DEVIL.
You should already know that it has absolutely nothing to do with the Christian image of the Prince of Darkness or Satan. It also does not specifically and necessarily mean anything bad or evil about either you or your future, but as we will now compare notes it potentially could if the message which it brings with it is not listened to closely enough and in time be a friendly warning of the ever present and significant dangers to your spiritual development of you not recognising what is of greatest importance in your life at the moment, or at least over the next six months covered by this reading.
Now there is nothing intrinsically or basically wrong or evil about us enjoying the more physical pleasures and benefits of us living in a physical body and world, and earning enough money to live comfortably and have enough left over after paying the bills to be able to do with it what makes us happy. But for a better word the many distractions which enjoying physical pleasures can bring us can tempt or lead us away from being healthy and having lasting happiness and joy in our lives.
There are I must admit shades or elements of the unashamed nakedness of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and the serpent tempting Eve with the apple from the Tree of Life in the afore mentioned garden of Paradise with this card. You could call it the card of the forbidden fruit syndrome. The more we deny ourselves (or are denied of them by other people) of our physical pleasures and the material wealth, the more we feel that we must have them.
Often the best way to make a person do something which is potentially self destructive to their overall health and happiness is to unknowingly and frequently with the very best of intentions to help, tell them that they cannot have it. Cryptically by reverse psychology it often makes that thing or person or temptation that much more attractive than it already was when you did not get in their way, and it or the other person was freely available most of the time. Human beings in general are creatures of habit and are likely to become addicted to potentially anything or anyone of thousands of Earthly distractions, given a chance or reason or excuse for doing so. Addictions are habits which in moderation in most of us do no lasting damage, but in some individuals some time in their lives they instead quickly take over from their better judgement and cause untold chaos and destruction in both their lives and in the lives of others close to them in the process.
The Devil is a card which reminds us that what was previously a harmless habit of moderation, can suddenly without warning basically take over our entire life, and make us do things which could totally ruin us or them. Equally as worse, if you are spending over 90% of your available time and energies trying to deal with the long term, serious and negative consequences of our physical excesses, we have little left over in reserve for our closest relationships and for discovering why we came to this Earth this time around. Often when our addictions get their hooks into us deeply enough to not want to have to give up on them, it is nearly too, late to be worrying or thinking about our health, physical, mental, emotional and last but not least spiritual.
In your case it is not being suggested for a moment through this month's general reading that you are at the end point of suffering from a serious and possibly fatal addiction to a legal or illegal chemical substance including alcohol, cigarettes, sex, gambling, partying every night like there was no tomorrow or any one of the addictions to which humans seem especially prone. But it is saying that you should practice moderation in as much as you possibly are able and willing to, as a preventative measure against this happening further down the road. The Devil is not telling you to completely give up on all your physical pleasures and become an angel or saint, but it is definitely encouraging you to be sure to keep a better and more consistent balance between the physical and more spiritual aspects of your life as a whole.
While I am not a qualified medical doctor and therefore cannot through a reading diagnose illnesses or recommend treatments, as your friend and reader I feel responsible if you used my reading as an excuse not to visit and consult with your doctor if unexplained and troubling health symptoms developed and you did not do what is necessary to have them properly investigated. Addictions can frequently creep up on us when we are least expecting or wanting them to. The same principle often also applies to problems with our health, which if they had only been detected and treated much earlier could have been greatly reduced in their negative impact on our spiritual journey or mission, or more rarely completely avoided.
Loving regards from someone who is no better or worse than you are in this regard.
Take good care of yourself,
EoT
