I think you need to read the answer again and also remind yourself of the question you asked.
Your question was asking for advice.  The answer supplied gave you a set of guidelines to follow that may ultimately get you what you wish for which is a lover.
There is not guarantee that this will happen as you may choose to disregard the advice given to you or fate may intervene and something much more important to you becomes a priority for the next 6 months.

What I am going to say from a non psychic view point is that hormones, sex and identity are very important to you at this age and they are the drivers for your daily motivation.  The image you project is the image people base you on.  If you don't like yourself, no one else will like you either.

I am giving you a reading, which also includes some friendly advice.

The reading is mainly concerned with helping you to increase your sense of self confidence, and by so doing attract a more suitable type of man to possibly become your partner.

A suitable man is one who will value and respect you for who you already are, and who is looking for someone who knows who he is and does not need someone else to depend upon for his own sense of self identity.

By doing this you would automatically at the same time no longer be attractive to a man who wants an unhealthy co-dependency, or who wants someone to dominate or push around.

People who are self confident are not as easily pushed into doing what they do not want to do, when compared to someone who is lacking in self confidence.

Low self confidence makes any person more vulnerable to people who use fear and guilt as weapons in order to get what they want, when they want it.

The whole point about the reading is to protect you from being manipulated into doing something within your relationships with other men which you could easily regret doing, by boosting your self confidence to such an extent that you are no longer so vulnerable, making you completely unattractive to any man who wants to manipulate you.
