Can anyone tell me if they can sense any psychic abilities or gifts within me? If so,  what kind and how can I develop these gifts? Thank you so much in advance!!

No, not though a psychic reading.

The best way I know to determine this for yourself is for you to join a regularly held psychic development group either online in chat rooms or preferably in your local area, or both. There with a knowledgeable and understanding teacher who is him or herself a practising psychic who is more advanced than yourself, as well as in the company of other students who are doing the same thing to become more aware of and learn to more effectively use their on unique gifts in the loving service of others, you will gradually learn DISCERNMENT, which is the ability to sort out the genuine psychic information from what is only wishful thinking or the product of your own fertile imagination.

You can often get some clues or hints as to what your particular psychic strengths are by your experiences up until now. How do you know things when there is no logical way that you could know them, including well before the event actually happens? Do you hear loud thoughts in your head, do you get visions or do you get feelings? Have you a gift for being able to predict the future with an accuracy above that which is expected by chance, or do you have a strong urge to heal the suffering of others as a healer?

Or have you ever felt that there was somebody in the room which your physical senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste or feeling cannot detect? Have you had dreams in which you believe you were visited by deceased relatives or other spirits? Have you ever learned to meditate, and if you have, did you have any experiences while doing it which cannot be easily explained by normal everyday physical laws and explanations?

This is not something which can be easily if at all determined through a psychic reading. If a reader has told you in the past that you have a specific gift in most but certainly not in all cases,  they are doing this to make you feel good and hopefully have you returning to them over and over again as a well paying customer. If however the leader of your psychic development group tells you the same thing, my advice to you would be that he or she is much better qualified and placed to tell you what your unique gifts are, than a fortune teller or amateur.

Only if what that person has told you leads you to look for a suitable development group in your local area lead by a teacher with a good reputation, have they done you a real and lasting favour. If you just leave it at that and allow an amateur to lead you in the direction which is most to their advantage rather than yours, and let them massage your ego with claims that they know what only your own Higher Self does about your reason and purpose for being here, as well as what particular psychic abilities you possess (and how strong each of them are), then this is an excellent recipe for disaster.  

Not only has the amateur fortune teller not been of any positive help to you, but they may have also potentially done you lasting damage by making you ignore your true gifts, and try for the rest of your life to be who they say that you are, or to develop gifts which you do not already have to be easily developed in this current lifetime?

Hoping that this has helped and has not unintentionally offended you, but I have seen first hand the damaging effects of readings of this type sometimes with the best of intentions on many of my friends by these amateurs, and I would rather as a result not add to all their difficulties by claiming to have this information when in all honesty I do not.

Thank you Eye of Tiger for the information! I wasn't sure if this would have been considered a reading or not so I posted it here. It makes total sense however that this would be something I would have to figure out within myself along with possibly a teacher or group. Thanks for the advice and the quick response!
