Hi there  EOT ,

I hope your doing fine and that you are having a good new year so far

I'm not so much at a crossroad in my life but more of a T junction waiting at the lights not knowing which way to turn in a couple of areas of my life.
I'm single and have been since my last serious relationship 5 years ago. Like i mentioned once - most of the men that I feel i have a connection with always seem to get swept up by other women.

I've had my eye on someone for the past year,(E) but, - story of my life, before i could get the courage to do anything and put my intentions out there, he gets snapped up. I have an instict about this guy, and that he may be 'the one'. However - i do feel in my gut ( without feeling presumptious or getting ahead of myself) that, well, that he may have some form of interest in me a while back but whether its still there is unknown.

I guess, I'm at that point where I need some psychic advice on my next best move and where everything is headed cosmically in terms of love, relationships, work, education etc.  Is there anything in the cards for me and E or am I chasing a sailed ship? I'm also thinking of going back to school and doing my graduate studies this year, but there are so many variables and decisions to make.
EOT,
I would so greatly appreciate any sage input on a psychic perspective that you can provide.
Thank you!

Blessings,
Rhea

Hello Rhea,

You have the dubious honour of being the first person whom I have encountered that feels she is presently at a T-junction in her life, instead of the usual crossroads.

The main difference between the two situations of course is that in the case of the T-junction when compared to the crossroads there is no road which leads or continues straight ahead.

In order for you to make any forward progress you will need to deviate by approximately 90 degrees in either direction from the most commonly beaten path (the one which would have been automatically taken by the average person), or go off at a tangent and try something quite novel and unconventional.

I just wonder if you realise just how intuitive your choice of the T-junction is, as your reading only serves to confirm that conventional and boring are two labels which could never be fairly applied to a person such as yourself who either does things her own unique way, or not at all.

Regardless of whether E may have some form of interest in you from a while back and he may or may not be one of your potential soul mates (as we each have many of these in any individual lifetime) he has made his choice and pardon the pun but he has made his bed and must now learn to sleep in it - preferably with the woman who most recently snapped him up before you were able to have him for yourself.

While I cannot read him directly as to do so would constitute a third party reading, I do get the distinct impression that while he may still find you attractive in the physical sense of the word, an unconventional person with a strong sense of self identity like yourself would not be his first choice in a prospective life partner.

Basically it appears that he requires a woman who is willing to do what he wants her to and allow him to make all the important decisions in the relationship. Unfortunately I must agree with you based upon your reading that you are at least with reference to E chasing a sailed ship.

Sorry that I am not the bearer of better news concerning your chances of getting E back especially within the period of time thought to be covered by this particular reading (approximately 6 months), but would you rather I be honest about what I am feeling, or would you instead prefer me to tell you only what I felt you most wanted to hear?

Now we normally only answer one question or talk about one life area in each reading. But since I know how disappointed you may feel about my predictions concerning E and the intuitive information is continuing to flow through me on your behalf, I must complete what I have started and will therefore go on to look at the graduate studies going back to school aspect of your request as a partial compensation for having to permanently burst your love bubble with E, so to speak.

I am quite confident recognising that you are an intelligent and thorough person in whatever you may set out to do, that you already have most of the variables which could ultimately determine whether doing the graduate studies and going back to school are practical/workable/manageable options for you at this stage of your life, covered. Consequently I will not bore you or insult your intelligence by repeating these here.

But your focus card for this reading which was BTW the Ace of Wands does at the very least suggest that there is enormous potential for you to make a success of this, but that you are only presently lacking in any real sense of direction.

Here goes that T-junction image of yours, all over again.

The importance and urgency of you choosing the right one for you of the two opposite directions on offer, is beginning to look like a connecting thread or theme which runs continually throughout your entire reading.

And the Wands suit itself of which this Ace is the first cab off the rank (first card in the suit) is generally associated with a person who always takes a positive, active, and practical approach to manifesting her dreams and ambitions at this physical level of reality, mainly through consistent hard work and short term sacrifices.

The Ace of any of the four Tarot suits represents your energy and passion to keep going in the direction which you have chosen, when everyone whose opinion is important to you is telling you loudly and clearly that you are definitely going the wrong way.

On the very first night I met my one and only wife of now over 32 years, she was very honest in informing me that her sense of direction was terrible. Indeed she was absolutely correct about this and while we were on our honeymoon we hired a rental car to travel around an unfamiliar city in another state (Perth in Western Australia). I was the driver and she was my navigator. Please do not laugh if you start imagining what having someone who cannot tell left from right on a map as my navigator is like.

After having missed our turn off three times in succession and having to go around the loop again and again and again, I developed a novel strategy which although it did not make much sense at the time, actually worked quite well. If she told me to turn one way I would instead turn in the opposite direction, and almost invariably the "wrong" direction turned out to be the correct direction after all.

Why I am telling you about my wife's poor sense of direction and the method I used to circumvent it is that your reading is telling you to do much the same thing. When your friends and family are giving you a long list of reasons why going back to school at your age in your early 30s is only likely to be a total waste of your time, energy and money, you are being encouraged not to be unkind or impolite to them as they do have the right to have their own opinions on the matter, but they also at the same time need to respect your right as well to live your life as you best see fit to do so.

You clearly need to be more assertive or stand up more for your own right to decide if going back to school is going to be likely to lead to something better for you in the way of a job or new career, without at the same time being openly aggressive and telling them where they can shove their opinions (with this being anatomically impossible).

Overall I am feeling that during the next six months you are being given a golden opportunity to test out your faith and confidence in yourself that you have whatever it takes to make the grade (another corny play on words). Only your fear of moving outside of your normal comfort zone stands between success and failure, or between relative success and a working life of mediocrity and only partial satisfaction.

Oh and I nearly completely forgot to mention (better late than never), that the Ace of Wands is frequently associated in the minds of many readers with the compass direction of SOUTH and the season of SUMMER. What this actually means in terms of your reading and your life I really cannot say at this point in time, but maybe you may find some special meaning in these bits of trivia, and I therefore will leave them with you to think more deeply about, with the intention to enhance your reading's accuracy and reliability when predicting if there will be a positive outcome to your plan to return to your studies, in order to improve your job qualifications and employability in the future.

If turning LEFT means keeping things much as they have always been, and turning RIGHT means going back to your studies, when most people tell you to turn left, have the courage to turn right instead, even in the face of all their opinions to the contrary.

Hoping that these insights ONLY WHEN COMBINED WITH information gained from other non intuitive, logical, professional or non professional sources will be of some practical use to you in eventually making your mind up as to whether the risk of going back to school is worth it in the long run.

All the best of luck with your educational endeavours, with good and thorough preparation beforehand as your back up.

Dear EOT - sorry for the late reply . I have been swamped with work and school! Yes I've enrolled into grad school .

Firstly, thank you so much for the time and energy that you have spared in doing a reading for me. As you once said in your reading(s) that you dislike the word 'soul mates', I myself have formed a dislike for the word 'crossroads' which is mainly, i feel, is an over-used cliche for people stuck between choices. Choices are usually yes/no, up/down, left/right, to go/not to go, and cliched but true to be/or not to be. The Universe made our choices simple - we intellectual beings unfortunately complicate things for ourselves. The only real crossroad we ever get to is the one made by the transport/road department.

I don't know much about E on a deep inter-personal level - but I suppose you may right, considering that he's a doctorate holder and is dating a woman, well, i don't want to sound rude and vindictive, very co-dependent and clingy apart from other things. Like you said EOT - he has made his bed and now he has to lie it. Whether or not he was meant for me is an answer only the Universe in her strange way can answer and grant. But thank you for giving insight on the issue.

I love the story about your wife and her sense of (mis) direction, and the wrong way being the right way. I myself have a horrible sense of direction, although i blame that completely on the fact that i don't go out much but the past couple of years or so since I started getting adventurous and less afraid of getting lost- i see that  i know my way around town and i even when i do get lost i keep a clear head. Much like life isn't? A few wrong turns, turns out to be one big right turn.

I haven't figured out the significance of SUMMER and SOUTH as of it, but perhaps it will come to me sooner or later.

Thank you again for your wonderful intuitive insight and for a great reading. Perhaps you would do me the pleasure of reading for me again in future. xx

Regards,
Rhea.

Rhea,

Not a problem.

Both of us being able to communicate through the forum when it is most convenient for us to do so is only one of a long list of advantages it has, when compared to text chat where you are working in real time and often feel pressured into coming up with an intelligent answer on the spot. Please do not give it another thought as I always look forward to and enjoy your beautifully worded responses, whenever they are received.

Your feedback is equally wonderful and great. So much that my simply saying that you are welcome for the reading hardly would do it justice.

We are clearly operating on a similar wavelength to each other in several ways, including our dislike of certain words in common usage which assume things which we do not agree with or feel are helpful.

Another such word is psychic.

Although this is a Psychic Reading forum, because of how psychics are defined on the web as possessing paranormal powers and having a private telephone line to God to be able to predict what the future will be with stunning accuracy, I would much prefer any day to be known as an intuitive reader instead.

Also there is such a thing as spiritual elitism or one-upmanship, where psychics and non psychics (if such a person actually exists) seem to have agreed between themselves that people with these abilities are somehow better or more advanced when compared to the general population.

So they play a game between them where the reader's ego gets out of control, and the client gives over all his or her personal power and responsibility to make their own decisions to the resident prophet. A game which I am not willing to be a part of.

All that I wanted to add here without also appearing to be rude and vindictive and overly judgemental of either of them is that academic intelligence and emotional intelligence are clearly two distinctly separate things and poles apart.

I will resist the temptation to elaborate any further on this.

Absolutely! You have got my intended meaning by me saying this spot on, and on your very first attempt.

Don't let it worry you any more, as it was only included for reasons of completeness, and as you say its real significance may become clearer with the passage of time.

This has already been responded to above.

Anyone who tries to stop me from reading for you again sometime in the future, is definitely asking for trouble.

Kindest regards and best wishes for your course and job(s) from your friend and humble reader (in that order of priority),

EoT
