Was wondering if i could have a birthday reading? My birthday is feb 6th 1986. Anything would be great but if you pick up on anything about me moving out (like when) or what kind of job my next will be

Hello again Sharon,

I was just looking back at your photo and reading request which you posted in November of last year (link above), and it will be my pleasure although with it now being February 9th in Adelaide, South Australia, this will be a somewhat belated birthday reading.

So I wish you a very happy birthday for February the 6th retrospectively, and being three days after the event.

Just a reminder that the type of readings I give on these MB forums are only thought to refer to a period of approximately six months after your original request. This basically means in your case and in the context of the two main questions you are asking me here (moving out and getting your next job), if the answer does come up in the negative or NO (and I have not even started giving it yet, so it might be YES), then this does not necessarily mean that it could not still happen before the end of 2011.

Now since I am only able to answer one question or talk about one life area per reading, I allowed the cards to decide which of the two we will go with this month. The remaining one will have to wait until sometime in the future, while still working within the forum rules concerning the minimum period between consecutive reading requests, which is currently 30 days or a nominal one month.

So my first question is as to whether we will be looking at whether you are moving house within the next six months, OR whether within the same period you will be either joining for the first time, or alternately returning to the work force.

And the first drawn card in an attempt to answer this question, which was BTW the card called STRENGTH, could in theory equally apply to both options simultaneously. Or at least it seems to be that way on the surface. The main message which is thought to be behind this particular card is that whenever it comes down to a competition between the use of brute force and your intelligence, intelligence often has the distinct advantage or edge over the use of coercion and intimidation of your opponent in almost any situation you can possibly think of.

Then I realised that STRENGTH is also the EIGHTH card in the major Arcana (VIII in Roman numerals). The EIGHT of any of the four different Tarot suits is generally associated by most readers with the person whose reading it is moving forwards and taking positive and practical action in order to help themselves to make this happen sooner rather than later. It also talks about an unwillingness to stay with what you have, and look instead for a total change in your surroundings. While I suppose that this could also refer to you moving forwards into your next job and changing the company that you work for and all the people you work with, I am tending to feel that this time at least we will be looking at your moving house question in preference to your job and career direction, roughly between now and the middle of August.

So whether or not you will be likely to be moving house between now and mid August it will be this month!

Your second drawn card was The Empress. The Empress is almost seen to represent the type of ideal mother whom we would have all liked to have, but never quite got. She is a complex mixture of all the very best qualities which you would choose in your mother, given the choice. The Empress or Earth mother is the co-creator of new life, and the one who makes what up until now has only been a thought without any form whatsoever in someone else's mind manifest or materialise on this physical level of reality. Or in a nutshell she makes the thoughts real or come alive. The ideal picture of what a mother could ideally be like has good sense, and is patient, loving, giving and generous.

But as is usually the case The Empress also has certain not so positive or attractive qualities about her. Her loyalty and devotion to her children is beyond criticism, but she does frequently over do things and fuss over them like a broody mother hen does for her chicks. She almost SMOTHERS them and their future development as independent human beings with her need to completely take total control over their lives and what they will do and who they are allowed to have anything to do with between being children and fully fledged adults who have flown the nest.

Now you may ask yourself as to what this has all got to do with your question about moving to another house, and possibly out of your parent's home after having lived under the same roof with them for all your 25 years. No I am not suggesting for one moment that your mother in real life is smothering you and your development with her brand of love and concern for your future, and that the sooner you get away from her the better things will be.

But I do see from your reading that moving out by yourself will potentially be the only way that you can prove both to yourself and especially to her that you have what it takes to make it in the big, wide world without always having her to come to your rescue. Not that you want her to always come to your rescue now, but I see moving out of your current living place as a big step towards you developing a sense of personal identity and greatly increased self confidence, that does not entirely depend on others to do for you what you would be far better off learning to do for yourself.

In summary therefore everything in your reading is pointing towards your moving out being a major positive stepping stone towards establishing yourself as a relatively independent and mature adult who can make her own way in the world, listening to other people's well intended advice when given, but then balancing up what they have told her against her own feelings or thoughts on the matter. I am therefore feeling increasingly confident that as we move towards the end of this year that you are likely to encounter an opportunity for you to change your place of residence, but that there are also a host of other factors (some still unknown) that will ultimately determine whether or not you will be in the position to be able to make the best of the real estate opportunity which I see coming your way.

Your reading is advising you to get some professional guidance and assistance from a real estate agent in your local area who has been briefed as to what type of accommodation and price range you are looking for, but have a healthy deposit if you are wanting to buy, or have your character references fully prepared if you will be looking in the private rental market, as there is every good indication that not having done this or having prepared yourself financially for the huge costs involved in moving, that even if such an opportunity were to come up before mid August, that this serious lack of forward planning on your part could definitely throw a spanner in your works, BIG TIME.

No predictions as such, but instead some timely and well targeted advice with the guiding intention to put you in the best possible position to be able to make the most of any real estate opportunities which might arise between now, and the middle of the also EIGHTH month of 2011.

Sounds promising to me, but it also sounds to be a challenge worthy of a person of your significant abilities and intelligence in moving out on your own in spite of any obstacles which are placed in your path, to make you change your mind mid stream. Do not be a sMOTHER hen or try to take complete control of every factor which could possibly influence the outcome of your plans to move, as you do not even know all of them.

Get the help of a professional real estate agent in your local area with detailed, local knowledge of what properties are available at the moment and could come up before the end o this year. Listen as well to the advice of your family, but balance it against your own logic and intuition before deciding to reject it completely. And definitely get your financial house and deposit in order, just in case it happens long before you had expected it to happen in your wildest dreams of gaining your freedom to be yourself.

Be kind to yourself and do not bite the hands which presently feed and protect you, in your enthusiasm and understandable impatience to move out on your own ASAP. For you to do that would be I feel a fatal error.
