Joharah,
Congratulations are definitely in order to you as you begin your new job, and hopefully also start out on the happiest as well as the most successful part of your life up until now.
While I do feel humbled by you telling me that if I had not been there to help you when it was needed then you would still be stuck in the corner of your lonely room, 99.9% of the effort and motivation to finally escape the prison cell which your mind had created in it's last ditch attempt to prevent further more permanent damage being done to your self confidence came from YOU and you alone.
I believe that my role was primarily to bring out the best in you which was always there (to educate), but had unfortunately become buried under several layers of frustration, needless guilt and anger over your situation. I may have been one of the people who lit the fuse, but the explosive energy which eventually made you believe enough in yourself once again so that you felt it was worth applying for the job was only supplied from within yourself.
So if we are giving out credit where it is well deserved but long overdue, then I feel that you badly and urgently need to give yourself a good pat on the back and say well done to me, for you being able to rise above your fears and put yourself out there in the world, renewed and refreshed and consequently much better prepared than at any other time in the past to successfully meet any challenge which is placed in your path in the future, and not only survive but be victorious.
You have really made my day by keeping me updated concerning getting your new job and life back, and I sincerely thank you for doing so as it should by now be clearly evident to anyone who really knows and understand me that I do continue to genuinely care for and about the people who I am attempting to help and support on this forum, long after their actual reading is over.
My most sincere and heartfelt congratulations and God speed to you my young friend.
Onwards and Upwards,
V is for VICTORY!
EoT
