What is up with this board? Are all the Psychics on strike? Did they leave? Or What? I hate to be impatient but I'm in a place where I'm not kidding, I NEED a reading!

Being a reader myself, I rarely ask for readings from others.

So ok, here it is:

I KNOW I'm in a period of transformation. And when in that place things tend to fall apart, and usually all at once. It's the Tower, and I understand that.  

But this is something else again. There is more to this than just that.

I need to know what my next steps should be and I need to know fast because I must take appropriate action within the next couple of days or face the consequences which could be quite devastating.

I've made real progress in the past couple of years, but now I'm stalled once again. Lost my job last week, my car broke down Thursday night and I have no way to get it back here to my house...unless I call a tow truck..very expensive.  I can't afford to get it fixed or buy a new car...but I have to have a car to get a new job. And I can't go long without a paycheck. See the urgency?  

On top of that the phone suddenly stopped having a dialtone last week. I'm not alone in that and the appropriate calls have been made and a workman was out on property today to assess and fix the problem. There are about 8 of us here with the same issue.

So, to recap: In one week, no job, no car, no phone.  EEEEEEEEK!!!!

To top it off, I think I'm finally ready to enter into another relationship, but there is no one around to do so with and I don't do bars. At 57 it isn't as easy to find a compatible person...especially for a Leo Lady with a Virgo Rising and Acquarius Moon.

I get it that spirit is saying, sit down, shut up, be still and listen..I wanna talk to you about something important.  Ok, I'm listening. I'm calling out.

Is anybody there?  

I'm not complaining here. I have lots to be grateful for and I am grateful.

But I really need some insights and I'm not objective enough to see my way ahead clearly right now. I'm too close to the forest to see the trees.

Will someone please give me a reading? I will trade.

Hmm not sure how to respond to this one, but here are my thoughts. You need to slow down and take a deep breathe. For some reason I think that you know what the right decision is for you and I would pursue that of which you feel is right.

Sometimes when all this stuff happens at one time it is usually a sign of a test or trial or (which I like to call them) opportunities..that we are given throughout our lifetime to help us grow and learn.  For some reason if you don't learn the lesson this time it will definitely come back again in your life until you learn how to control and handle the situation.

In my opinion you need to decide how you want to move forward and you can't do that without a clear head. If you can't afford certain things like getting your car fixed look at alternative methods either bus or friend to help you out until you get back on your feet. Barter something with a neighboor to see if they can help you out.  Look for other methods of income.  There are alot of ways you can make it through without become totally disorientated, just take one thing at a time. I am sure you will get thru it.

Well, you confirmed what I had thought, that it was a test, felt like it. And I know how to go through those by now. As calmly as possible!

Your advice is good as far as it goes. Its pretty standard and I think I might say the same thing to someone sharing that kind of information.  And things are starting to turn around. Phone got fixed today after many calls to the phone company. I got my car towed, had to get a towtruck, sure enough, it's the transmission....and transmission problems speak to me of "shifting gears" mentally and in general in my life. When a transmission breaks down, it means I'm moving by fits and starts (which is how my career and social life have been going in actual fact) or not able to go in any direction...stuck. Same applies.  So I look at what I need to do to get unstuck. There are other problems with the car and I'll find out what tomorrow and get an estimate of the costs to repair it. Then I start negotiations with the repair shop. I simply don't have the means to fix it at the moment. Which may be an opportunity in disguise. I have no idea what talents I have that the repair shop needs that I can barter, but I figure cash is best.  Most shops only work on cash.

Unfortunately I don't have dependable friends or family here to help me out. I'm on my own, so I HAVE to trust the universe to take care of me, and it always does.  Public transportation won't do in this town. How do I get a marketing job if I don't have a reliable car? Telecommuting is an option, but won't be a complete answer. If I go for the job I think I'm going to go for, I can negotiate transportation to events as part of the package as it's fairly standard.  I can do some interviews by phone, but employers want to take a good look at you eventually.  I'm putting it out there that I will either manifest my car repaired and in perfect running order or something better...a new car is acceptable as long as it runs well and looks as good or better than my current one.  

Sorry, but "making it through" just isn't what I want anymore, I've done that for too many years and I have some goals I'd like to accomplish financially, like having the things "normal people" have for a change instead of struggling all the time just to pay my utility bills and buy a little food.  

Now that the phone is working again maybe I can go back to doing readings? Whaddya think?

You know I wrote that message than I was reading another part of the forum and I was thinking why did I bother writing this message to you. I already knew you understood what your choices are and the direction you were headed.  Anyway I am glad that I could confirm what you already knew in some small way.

The other part of this was that when I was reading some of your replies I got this overwhelming feeling of amazement of how intune you are with yourself and the universe.  I was thinking why doesn't this person participate more in readings not on just boards like this but as a way for income.  Sometimes I think we get these roadblocks for a reason. As for for me I always tend to get these "tests" or roadblocks when I have deviated from the path to get closer to the God of my own heart and develop who I am.  And it is a reminder to take a look at my lifestyle and say should I really be doing this?
