This is Perhaps my most memorable experience to date. There are so many questions I have about it, but I don't think anyone really has the answer, so I'm asking you guys now.

I was on the phone with my boyfriend at the time (I'm single now), and I was talking about my deceased twin. My twin died in the womb, before we were born. So I was born a twinless twin.
As we were talking, I felt this odd but comforting sense wash over my room. It was like time stood still and then the odd sensation washed over me. I started to cry uncontrollably as if the tears were coming from some other source. My body involuntarily shivered with this warm chill. It washed away as soon as it came, but I could still feel the "love" from when it did.

At the time, I thought it was my twin, crying through me. But I have no exact way of knowing. Was it really my twin? Was it some divine entity telling me that my boyfriend was my true love? Whatever it was, it was so loving and so huge for my one body to take. That's the best I can describe it. I heard similar stories when people refer to heaven, so it might have been my twin. What do you guys think?

Further to Rhutobello's wise counsel if you are indeed looking for an actual reading instead of simply an opinion about this, then this would in all likelihood require the services of a medium (which I am not) who is working in real time instead of through a delayed response from a person living in a different time zone as occurs on these forums.

This could be better accomplished either person to person offline, or alternately in an internet chat room in order to be able to determine if that spirit entity was really your deceased twin. Because of this I am currently restricted to offering you my opinion only.

I believe that this had very little to do with your now ex boyfriend, or that it was a sign that you were meant to be together, which would suggest that you had made the wrong decision to separate. If you are feeling guilty because you may have unknowingly destroyed the plan which the Universe has for both you and your ex, I do not think you have any real reason for concern.

From my own experience (both my parents are now in Spirit) and my admittedly limited knowledge of spirit communication, I have been lead to believe that when we talk with pleasant memories or thoughts about a deceased loved one, it acts rather like a homing beacon, to draw them even closer to us than they would have been otherwise.

Consequently it is my feeling that when you talked in an emotional manner to your then boyfriend about your deceased twin whom you never got to meet on Earth but who may have been your soul mate regardless of this, the comforting sense of emotional release and love you have for him or her sent a signal out into the psychic ether to draw their spirit towards your own. For a short time their spirit and your own could have been in a form of embrace where your energies temporarily merged in such a manner as if you were the one person.

Such a phenomenon is called SPIRIT COMMUNION or literally a joining of two souls and their energies, and it only further goes to demonstrate what is probably also happening invisibly (at least to our physical eyes) behind the scenes when two people living on Earth act as one individual, and when the bond of love between them is unusually strong.  

The fact that your twin is now in Spirit and does not have a physical body to get in the way of this process of merging, may indeed mean that a closer and more intense form of spirit communication now becomes possible.

So in essence I believe that you were temporarily experiencing, although nowhere as intensely as might happen when your own time on Earth is also at an end and you more fully reunite with your twin on the higher spiritual planes, the true meaning of what love is all about and how it transcends even physical death itself.

What a wonderful and moving experience this is to be able to carry with you all your Earthly days, until that moment of joyous reunion with your twin eventually happens on the higher side of life.
