It has been some time since I have had a reading from you. You provided much insight in the past, and I have enjoyed reading your responses.. not from my posts entirely, but those that you have answered for others.

I was wondering, when you have the time, if you would kindly provide a general reading for me? I am being pulled in every which way, so I think it best to leave it up to your senses as to what is being called out for me.

Being a member of the Pentacles or Coins suit, the King of Pentacles which is your focus card for this month's general reading immediately suggests to me that money issues are presently of greatest concern to you in achieving whatever you have set out to do.

An alternative interpretation which is often overlooked in many similar readings to your own is that your general health may finally be on the mend as a direct consequence of some remedial action you have taken such as having a more healthy diet, cutting back on drinking and/or smoking, regular exercise or simply taking better care of yourself and not attempting to continually overdo things.

Of course worrying unnecessarily and excessively stressing yourself out and losing valuable sleep over any money problems you may presently be experiencing would not be beneficial to anybody's health, so solving money problems could turn out to have a very positive impact on your health as an added bonus. While it is often felt that an inadequate income is the source of all your problems, it is felt to be more likely in most cases that it is a matter of cash flow issues (not accusing you of anything but some people no matter how much money they earn weekly will always be crying poverty, often due to them having an extravagant and expensive lifestyle). In other words, at any given moment their total expenses exceed their combined income.

Short of getting a better paid job or promotion the only option is to work upon reducing your expenses across one or several life areas at the same time, so freeing up more in reserve to be used instead for other things which can give you greater personal satisfaction, and are also more consistent with your purpose for being here.

Kings featuring in your reading can show that you are highly motivated to succeed at any cost, but the secret I feel is to ensure that these costs are not too high, with regards to your emotional health and by way of interfering with your closest relationships with others.

The King of Pentacles in particular is often thought to mean that you are contemplating setting up a new business or are thinking about making a major investment, both of which could have far reaching consequences for your financial security and happiness over the longer term. It may also be possible for you to either supplement the income you make from your regular job or completely replace it over time with extra money made by doing some craft activity (working with your hands more than your mind) which up until recently you only did as a hobby or leisure time activity.  

The really critical thing for all successful reigning monarchs is for them to realize is that without the full and willing co-operation of his loyal subjects any king's boundless enthusiasm and energy is likely to effectively come to nothing. Therefore the overall message that this reading is trying it's best to get through to you is that while you may believe deep down that in order to do a job well and on time it is always better to do it yourself, doing it entirely by oneself without any outside assistance whatsoever is a symptom of sheer stubbornness and ignorance on your part and a recipe for disaster, rather than it being a sign of your strength and determination in the face of your many life (including financial) challenges.

It sounds to me that you have just been given a royal talking to by someone up there who is deeply concerned that you are allowing resolving your money problems (although they are very real) to all too often take greater priority over the more important things in your life - namely your spiritual development, your closest relationships and your health.

It gave me chills to read what you've written for me.

I understand completely what you are telling me, and have known those exact words for some time now. It's as if you were repeating what I've heard for years.... I guess it is time to finally accept and change it.

When you mentioned that I do, as well as think, things on my own without the help of others starred me straight in the face!! It is very true, and I am trying to tell my brain that it is okay for things not to be done in a manner of fashion that I would do. I really need to ask for help on this matter, as I have struggled most of my life with this sort of OCD type behavior. It exhausts me, and frustrates me to keep thinking that in order to have it done right, I must do it myself. I think I will keep praying for some help on this. It is much too often pushed aside because I am busy worrying about other matters.

I especially loved your last paragraph. It brought tears to my eyes. I've known this as well, but to see it written really hits home. My children and family should be put before my financial situation, and most of the time, I push them away. I can spend hours trying to adjust my money around (robbing peter to pay paul), instead of playing with my children, or calling my grandmother, etc.....

To a varying degree, having obsessive thoughts and acting out compulsive behaviours are part and parcel of the human condition.

Medically diagnosed OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is no doubt at the more extreme end of the spectrum, but it is the same spectrum on which we all lie and within which we all move in either direction at different stages of our lifetime.

And extra financial worries are an extremely effective trigger for such episodes, even in an otherwise non OCD type personality?
