When time permits, could you do a reading?

Hi Mystic,

No matter how busy I am at the moment, I always try to make time for helping my friends to the best of my abilities.

When I asked my inner source as to what was felt most important for you to know at this particular time (which is the same question which I always ask in response to a general reading request), I was immediately drawn to the Two of Cups.

Any card in the Cups suit of the Tarot is thought to be associated with the nature of your closest relationship with others, including those of a romantic nature but not confined exclusively to these.

Any of the four 2s in the Tarot is believed to tell us that a decision between two different options must soon be made, and that the energies of this card are being given to you in order to make your decision an easier one or to make your thoughts move in the direction which is in your best interests.

Specifically the Two of Cups has often been called the Romeo and Juliet card or alternately the card of unrequited love. Two people who love one another dearly look deeply into each other eyes, and drink a toast in celebration of the love which they feel in their hearts for their partner.

But unfortunately although their love for each other is both strong and true, for one of many possible reasons (generally from outside of the relationship and from other people around them) they are prevented from consummating or fully experiencing the joy of being with someone who loves them as they already are, instead of wanting to make them into someone whom they are not.

In the context of this particular reading, I feel that within the next six months or so you will be in a similar situation to the one best described by and most often associated with the Two of Cups. Unfortunately however your reading does not make it equally clear with regards to whether this will be a completely new relationship, or whether instead that it will be the next development phase of an already existing one.

I sense that you are going to get a lot of outside interference from people who with the best of intentions try to convince you that you were not meant to be together, and this card is basically telling you to not be openly aggressive with these people, but at the same time that it is important to the future of your relationship that you should both learn to be more assertive with them and stand up for your own right to decide for yourself what is the best course of action or decision to take.

Do not make the common mistake of automatically rejecting any constructive advice they may offer you, as by doing this you could potentially be throwing out the baby with the bathwater (and no this is not meant to be regarded as me predicting that one of you will fall pregnant) - it is merely a visual metaphor that attempts to express the fact that by throwing everything out you may be unwittingly throwing out what is useful or valuable advice along with that which is effectively useless and counterproductive.

Hoping that you will find these insights to be both relevant and helpful to you over the next six months or so, as I feel that you deserve only the very best of what your life and specifically love itself can give you.

Further to your recent private message which informed me that you are indeed already in an existing relationship, I wanted to clarify what I said in your reading about this very possibility. I am definitely not talking here about about anything to do with your relationship with your spirit guide, as you suggested may be the case in your PM.

Here then is the relevant part of your reading...........



So knowing that you are already in a well established relationship with one child and another soon on the way (possibly), here is what I was trying to tell you, but obviously failed to get my intended message across (my fault, and not yours).

I believe on the basis of this reading that within the next six months that you as a couple will need to make a major decision between two different options, each of which could potentially have far reaching positive consequences if you can only get it right for you.

But I feel that this decision is going to be made more difficult than it really should be through the interference of someone from outside of your relationship (either another family member or perhaps a close friend) who although they believe they are doing this in your best interests are terribly misguided (and are interfering in what is your business alone).

The reading is encouraging you to patiently listen to their well intended advice, and not to automatically go on the defensive or become openly aggressive with this person.

At least some of the advice they are offering you is sound in itself, so do not discard all of it before you have first had the opportunity to consider it in more detail, and to sort out what is helpful from what is not.

Learn to stand up more for or more assert your rights as a couple to make your own decisions, and not to always think that this or any other person must necessarily know better than you what is the best decision to make with reference to this particular issue.

There is no suggestion that your relationship is going to be damaged in any way by this. Actually if you learn the lesson contained within this experience well, it (your relationship that is) could end up to be much stronger instead of weaker as a result.

But had this been a new relationship instead of an existing one, I may well have interpreted the meaning of this card slightly differently from what I did with you. Therefore since this does not apply to you, there is no further valid reason for you to be concerned about or to lose any more of your beauty sleep because of it.
