Hi,

I would like a reading about my relationship, I have been going through a very tough phase with respect to this relationship, there is a lot of negative feeling into my relationship but I love my partner very much , i just cant imagine life without her but the past always gets me disturbed.

You have asked for a reading on two different areas there. Do you have a preference for one over the other as many of our readers ask that only one question or area of life is given.

With regards to your relationship have you discussed this with your girlfriend, does she know it still affects you? That might be the first place to start as we do not allow third party readings heres, that is, readings about another. Instead we ask them to join up and requst their own reading

I think my preference would be relationship, yes my gf does know that it still effects me.

Hi,

I feel for you and wonder if you are deciding to stay in this relationship rather than face the alternative?

I keep getting a picture of two horses, one is beautifully carved from stone and the other is a strong, enthusiastic chestnut stallion that is chomping at the bit and eager to get moving. Although he wants to break away and gallop and kick up his heels he cannot as he is stuck to the stone statue. You have said that you love your partner very much but that the past still affects you, the past will never change so you will have to learn to live with it or to move on.

First lets take a look at living with the past and making it more acceptable and not so painful? Is that possible? Do you really think that you will ever be able to forgive and forget and put the memories to rest and then move on with an open heart not remiding yourself what happened, because that is what is needed to make things progress. Whilst this event is still holding you, there will be a shadow over your partnership. And shadows tend to grow and breed in the dark moments of our life.

Now lets look at the possibility that you are only staying and putting up with this pain because you perhaps lack confidence in yourself to get another relationship? Sometimes we stay in relationships for all the right reasons and sometimes for all the wrong. If you really don't think that you can move on and let this past drift into the distance then maybe you should think about calling it a day and moving on yourself so that you can forget and move on? How does that idea make you feel?

Thanks for the advice , frankly speaking I dont know wat I really want, I lover her a lot but at the same time cant compromise on a lot of things, secondly i am not sticking just to keep my self happy more than expecting i have always given in my relationship.
