I am wondering why you want to 'give this a try'? I see that you have posted a couple of requests for readings, but I wonder if you are really in need of a reading? Every reading takes a lot of care and thought, it expends the reader's time and energy and we all do this here on Mystic Board for free. I wonder if you would be so friviolous with my time if you were paying for it? I can understand that perhaps youth is making you a skeptic, everyone is entitled to their own opinons, and to be honest I am the best skeptic in the room, but your request seems more like a test than a true request so I think I might just leave it and see if another reader wants to spend their free time taking up this challenge

I must admit that I strongly agree with and fully support Lady of Avalon's thoughts on this matter. I have observed that when a reading is requested only out of curiosity or as a test that the person is often given only what they wanted to hear in response, while if on the other hand it is out of genuine need then they are told what they really need to hear for their own spiritual growth.

The question you have to then ask yourself is as to whether or not you wish to only request a reading out of curiosity or as a test, and probably get very little of any significant value in response, or whether you are really here out of a desire to try to clear up some of the confusion you are currently experiencing in your life.

The latter option also means of course that you must be willing to hear what may be some uncomfortable truths, if they come through as part of your reading.

Are you fully prepared to do this, and to do the inner work involved in making whatever positive changes in your situation the reader feels are necessary?

I feel that the "entertainment purposes only" label which is required by law for psychic readings given on the web gives many people the mistaken impression that this is just a game, when I and the other readers on this forum take our responsibilities very seriously indeed.
