I just want to know if things are going to finally go well for me. I haven't been very happy with my life really. When I was six years old my father committed suicide and it seems like everything has gone downhill since then. Before then I was happy with friends, but then we moved and ever since people have made fun of me for one thing or another. The latest has been my experience in High School, everytime I thought I finally found someone to be my friends they would either move, betray me or something else would happen to make it so I didn't have friends. Right now I currently have one friend but we don't talk much. People tell me I am too boring, and I do try to have fun I really do but I am also really shy. Most of High School was made fun of because I am not pretty, the guys would give me a complete hard time. I just want to know if I am ever going to find a guy who likes me for who I am, or if I am going to be able to start me career. I want to be a kindergarten teacher, I've applied for college and I'm just waiting for the replies which won't be until after Febuary of next year. I have always had a learning disability so I haven't always had the best marks, but I can't picture myself not working with children. I've been babysitting since I was eleven, so it's my life.
I just want to know if I am ever going to be happy, because I really am not right now. I'm even on anti-depressants which aren't working.

You have me concerned!

I understand why you are not happy because all the past stuff that has happenned to you. First you have to realize that you are not a bad person and none of the stuff that has happenned in your past is your fault. You have two choices continue down this road you are on or change your thinking.

Once you change your thinking of who you are than you will see all the successes flowing your way. You need to take a deep look at yourself and analyze how you see yourself. If you can't love yourself than who is going to be able to love you.

Please don't do anything drastic, you are young and you have soo many opportunities. Look at yourself...what do you see when you look in the mirror?
