I am 49 and the mother of a wonderful eight year old boy.

I have been married for 22 years, in a co-dependent relationship, and getting ready to divorce.

I have been in business and working daily with my husband for approx 15 years.

I am a recovering alcoholic, sober 17 years, relapsed due to stress and depression two years ago, sober now one year.

I have been in a same sex (my first) relationship for about a year with someone I believe may be my "Twin Flame".

I feel I am getting ready to enter the best phase of my life, or hit a brick wall.

I have listed all of my areas of concern in my original request, and they include just about every facet of my life.

I need direction in the following areas:

How to raise my son, and what to emphasize in his life.

How to get away from my husband, finally, and how to proceed in my divorce.

What should I do to earn a living?  

What can I expect from my relationship with my same sex intimate friend that I consider to possibly be my "True Flame"?

I know this is a lot...but I am truly searching for direction.  It is hard for me to trust my own judgement and know what is best....

I have opened your records and have a bit of information for you:

How to raise my son, and what to emphasize in his life.

You raise your son with grace and dignity, sprinkled with lots of love every moment of the day.  You don't need anyone to tell you how to raise your son, there are no directions and no books written that will cover that, only your love and maternal instinct including a lot of God's influence.

How to get away from my husband, finally, and how to proceed in my divorce.

Again, hon you know how to do this, you just haven't finalized it in your mind.  Once you do, there will be no one that can stand in your way.  You will have to learn how to allow your son's father to have a part in his life, but not yours, it will be difficult but it can be done.  There is a warning from the spirit world, your son is learning to play you two against each other.  You must talk and remember, your son has a child's perception of events that may not necessarily be correct.  They make assumptions just like adults do.  


What should I do to earn a living?  

I'm not getting much information about this, for some reason, I see lots of flowers, plants, bushes, etc. like Landscaping????? They are giving me a lot of laughter, don't know if this is for you or my confusion.  LOL.  Anyway, I am not going to attempt to interpret, this could also mean the use of herbs in different areas, That is for you to figure out.

What can I expect from my relationship with my same sex intimate friend that I consider to possibly be my "True Flame"?

The one major thing  I sense with this relationship is drama and jealousy.  Keep in mind you are entering a new world that could be a blessing or it could be a problem.  It is up to you to set some boundaries and keep them.   You must also consider any confusion your son might have in this relationship as well.  I see one big org and 3 small ones around it.  A mother hen trying to get all of her chicks in order.  

I don't want to go as far as "True Flame" but I will say true friend with this new partner.  I seem to sense some hesitation with this person, but you are not sure of the direction because this is the first time you have ever been treated with true respect and dignity.  You just need to keep God in you heart and let him guide you.  

I know this is a lot...but I am truly searching for direction.  It is hard for me to trust my own judgement and know what is best....

I would be afraid of the individual that went forward without concern for others and only self.  Your judgment is good as long as you keep your God in your heart and keep in mind that God loves you as if you were his only child.  As an example, there is nothing your son could ever do to stop you from loving him, what makes you think that God would be so shallow to stop loving you?

Rosie, you will be fine, I know this is all new to you but obviously you know it is the right direction, so make up your mind and know that you have made the right decisions with the tools and information you have.

Thank you for the reading.  You mentioned some things that are very true...many of them I know.
I meant to say "Twin Flame" with my friend's info.    Maybe true is the correct one...freudian slip?
At first I didn't want to admit the drama and jealously part, but we have been going through some of that this year...while I'm working out my divorce.  Everything you mentioned about my son, I know.  I feel he is very special...but then I know all moms feel this about their son.  I had him when I was forty...his birthdate is 9/9/99 and he was 9 days late.  He thinks about things deeply.

About the flowers, they used to be a passion of mine...before I married.  And one thing I do with my friend is Laugh....a lot.   More than I ever have.
There is much more to my story than I can tell you...sometimes I think it's bookworthy.
