Dear Angelic,
Our friendly and overworked board moderator Gem has kindly notified me via a PM that you are requesting a reading specifically from eye_of_tiger. Private readings are really only available by email from those sites who often charge you an exorbitant fee for the privilege of doing so, or by telephone or face to face in your local area. Readings given on this site will continue to be given absolutely free, but an open forum policy is to be observed at all times, just as much for your protection as it is for our's. Any confidential information should be sent to the reader concerned through a private message, and only then at their request. In most cases however this should not be necessary, nor is it advisable as it could potentially give the reader preconceived ideas about you which could get in the way of a successful reading being given.
Let us then move on (finally he is getting around to giving the reading) to your actual reading as requested, now that I have hopefully made things a little clearer. I wish to take this opportunity as well to warmly welcome you to this Psychic Reading forum, and sincerely hope that we will see you around as an active contributor to these forums for many years to come. I think that just as with everyone else what you get of benefit to you from these forums will be in direct proportion to what you are able and willing to put in.
The first card I drew on your behalf was the
King of Swords.
The King of any of the four Tarot suits is believed to represent your passion and motivation to overcome what challenges life places in your path, even some times under particularly adverse circumstances which would destroy a lesser person than your good self. Although they are the last of the so called Royal cards perhaps they should be the first, as without passion and motivation and a burning desire to succeed at almost any cost, all of your best laid plans are likely to come to next to nothing. Not only does any successful ruler require a clear idea as to what is the best possible course of action to be taken in everyone's best interests, but without the full and willing co-operation of his loyal subjects, nothing of any positive significance is likely to happen.
What a good thing it is therefore that the type of person best represented by this card is frequently equally gifted as a leader possessing excellent communication skills and with his own special way of bringing others around to his own way of thinking (without them realising that they are following him). A King in the Tarot either represents a male person, or alternately a woman who is currently using the more masculine aspects of her own personality as a whole - being assertive, outgoing, moving out into the world at large to experience their life to the full. A bit of an extrovert. This is not intended as being a put down to our shared feminine aspects, but is only stating what are the facts - that we are each as individuals a complex and ever changing mixture of what are the greatest personality strengths of being either a male or female, side by side in the same person (understood?). For "his" in all cases, you can safely substitute "her".
The King of Swords type person is always brainstorming or throwing around any ideas which go through his head and likes to get his ideas down quickly on paper before they evaporate like ice falling on a hot tin roof. They pride themselves on being able to view problems objectively and to find new and creative ways of doing or thinking about things which nobody could have ever imagined before. In other words they tend to be non conventional thinkers and doers and often march to the beat of a completely different drum from most of their friends and other family members.
Whatever people may say behind your back or directly to your face (and you will encounter no shortage of critics), nobody could ever say that you were not fair, although the methods you use to apply your own particularly high moral principles to another person's situation can at times make you come across to them as being bossy and unfeeling, when this could not be further from the truth. Not only do you set very high standards of behaviour for yourself, but you equally expect others around you to do the same, which can cause conflicts and disagreements where they would not have been necessary if your expectations had been a little more practical and realistic. A willingness to compromise and to accept input from other members of your team will greatly enhance the spirit of you working together more as one for the common good.
They are likely to be anything from a lawyer, judge, musician to a politician or designer. Someone who either enjoys having a rigid set of rules on which to act, or on the other hand a person who likes to break them and use their own unique creative skills to more fully express their true inner selves instead of always being a follower instead of a leader. By setting his own standards way too high he is unintentionally setting himself up for frequent disappointment as he is as fallibly human as the rest of us. By demanding the same high standards in his partner and if their union should be blessed his children as well, while he would do anything he could to help and protect them from harm, when it comes down to a conflict between holding on to his beliefs no matter what and being supportive of his family, the ideas will always come out on top.
The overall message therefore of this reading is that although the King of Swords type person has many positive personality strengths going heavily in his or her favour, there are also waiting in the wings some more extreme character tendencies which will need to be carefully watched, and if they do ever rear their ugly heads then immediate remedial action will need to be taken in order to restore a sense of order and peace to this very worthy and likeable king's castle.
God Bless,
eye_of_tiger
