You mentioned in passing in your response to MangoMom's Akashic Reading given on February 5th that that your schooling (6 months) or healer training course begins in Mid March, so by my calculations you should be starting this about now.

Also do you also remember MangoMom saying to you......?

Have you ever considered what could have possibly be intended by that phrase, because on the basis of my own reading the same message just keeps coming through over and over again? Have you ever realised that as a person working in a complementary healing modality that you are above all also each patient's teacher in how to more fully integrate their body, mind and spirit and to maximise their health? From the mouths of babes does not refer to them being younger than you in terms of their years, but rather in the manner that they look up to you for guidance (almost as a parent provides for their own child). But rather than this being a rigid teacher student relationship where the teacher has all the wisdom and knowledge and takes pity on the younger student who lacks what he or she has to offer, it must be a two sided co-operative effort where both you and your clients feel as though you are helping each other as if on the same level.

Often as a "healing facilitator" rather than merely as a teacher, the people we are trying to help have just as much of value to teach us as we do to them. Out of the mouth's of such babes will come the wisdom and experience that cannot be easily learnt from only books. Not only will you be able to help each of them to better understand themselves, but you will at the same time learn quite a lot about your own strength of character as part of the exercise, and will most likely experience a corresponding major boost in your self confidence. First hand or hands on experience is going to be of greatest benefit to you in the end, and I feel that this six months course is going to open you up for so many exciting challenges and possibilities that I wish I had had the opportunity to do the same thing at your age.

The overall message which comes through with this reading is that you presently stand on the threshold of an important new phase of your life, as well as in your professional development as a healer. Healer, heal thyself? Many potential healers are only first made aware of their healing gifts, when consulting a healer for the treatment of their own health problems.

This is a message of encouragement and an inner knowing that you are never fully alone in your ongoing search for your life's purpose and meaning. I therefore wish you well with both your healing course, as well as with your healing practice on graduating. While I agree about the crystals and possibly even Reiki I also feel that you learning deep therapeutic massage techniques (with the corresponding certificate of proficiency) will open many doors to you that would have remained closed if you had not investigated this particular area further (even more so than the Reiki itself).

Dear Eye of Tiger,

I just got home from work and was so excited to find your kind reply. You have an incredible gift; I feel as if a friend who really knows me just gave me encouragement and a hug!

I do start Monday, and have a slight case of the "back to school at my age" jitters, which you have helped a lot! You have also given me peace of mind about the outcome. I will stay open to learning from those that I work on, and my classmates, as well as my teachers.
