Although I understand that you were concerned that your response could possibly cause the readers on this forum to overlook the member's request, I feel that you are seriously underestimating the value of the good work you have done by providing Lost Soul with some words of comfort in his time of greatest need. Being an effective reader and helper on this forum does not require you to have any formal qualifications as a registered psychic. The friendly advice and your obvious willingness to help a person who is otherwise a stranger to you is to be admired and applauded, and not put down because you did not use the Tarot or some other common method of divination. I do not use these methods in all my readings, so it entirely possible that you are unintentionally functioning as a reader, even though if you were asked about this you would probably say that this was nonsense, and that you are about as psychic as a tree stump. Please consequently in future do not continue to hold back if you feel you would like to provide some moral support, in addition to a formal reading to be given by someone else. Even better, why not forget about your belief that you are not a reader, and be one (instead of always trying to be someone whom you are not). Your input and ongoing support is always much appreciated by both the readers and the other members as well.

I also feel a deep sense of empathy with you with a family to support and all, and while I cannot predict with any degree of certainty that you will finally find a more permanent position within the next six months or so, the very fact that had the courage to admit this on a public forum such as this one is I feel a particularly good omen for your working future. Basically my reading of the situation is much the same as Doe's was, and I humbly ask that both you and your family will experience God's calming presence in your lives and that you will then know beyond any doubt that you have not been left to face this challenge entirely by yourselves. Please therefore continue to reach out for help wherever you can find it, as it is not to be regarded as a sign of any weakness on your part, but is more a sign of your strength and your loving commitment to your family who love you so. The true character of a person is not to be measured by what happens in his or her life, but rather by how they choose to respond to it. If you are thrown off a horse X times but get straight back on it X + 1 times, then you must never regard yourself as having failed. After being thrown off at least 20 times and having got straight back on 21, surely you must have this vital survival skill basically mastered?

That was very sweet, EOT--thank you.  I'm really glad that you didn't think that I was simply interfering!  I'll think about your suggestions, even though I probably AM about as "psychic as a tree stump"--at least in that way!  I AM curious about what you said about my trying to be someone I'm not, though! (Although maybe you were referring to some of the things we discussed when you did my reading?  . )

I'm sure that AP will take comfort in your wise thoughts!

Our favourite method of giving readings is about as individual and unique as each of us are. Also we try to tailor our methods according to the needs of the person requesting the reading.

I feel that in the case of AP's request you were very perceptive that rather than expecting an actual prediction the member was only voicing the frustration and emotional pain they were presently experiencing at being constantly knocked back for a job.

AP was above all looking for someone to listen to them with compassion and without judgement, and not I believe for a fortune teller with a crystal ball. With regards to showing some human compassion and a genuine desire to bring some comfort and healing to their situation, in my personal opinion you did brilliantly.

Doe .. You have a heart as big as a lion and insight to match. thank you for the helping hand and shoulder when i needed it.

As i was saying to Doe, im normaly a positive person who just gets on with it and stays focused but i suppose circumstances caught up with me when i got confirmation of what was happening behind my back at work and how the trust level was so false.
But hey thats just a normal thing in any job and im over it.
My family are way too important to me, to dwell on petty things.

So i have applied for job 22,23,and 24 and my work can kiss my ***.

Thank you both for saying those nice things, and you're more than welcome, AP!.  Any "insight" I have simply comes from having been in similar situations, where (at least for a while) nothing seems to work, and it seems that others hold all the power and that I'm powerless.  It's a terrible feeling, but it always changes for the better eventually.
