I am not normally psychic about anything in particular, but when it comes to my dreams I usually seem to be.  I often have very vivid and realistic dreams, dreams that come true, dreams that help me get through a specific problem, etc.

A few months ago I had an extremely vivid dream that I can't seem to be able to forget.  It was a dream, with as little graphic details as possible, where I was being raped and the man who was doing the awful deed was shot while on top of me by someone who seemed to be a friend of mine (who I don't know in real life).  It has been a few months since the dream and I am still convinced that that particular dream was a glimpse into a past life of mine.  Am I correct about that or does it mean something else?

Also, I have been trying to contact my spirit guide for the past year and it seems that two particular people stand out in my dreams.  I am certain my spirit guide is a male, but there are two males coming through.  One being a semi-small looking younger man with medium length brown hair and another tall man with dark hair and clothing who calls himself "Blue" (who the brown haired male actually introduced me to in a dream I had) in my dreams.  Who are these two people who keep coming through so strongly in my dreams?

Thank you so much for the reading, in advance

moved to psychic reading forum...it might be that the question is a combination of dream/psychic...however we find it is best suited there.

Personally I feel that you are just as psychically gifted when wide awake as you are while you are dreaming. The big difference is that when you are dreaming your constantly questioning everyday mind is temporarily out of the picture, allowing the genuine psychic information to come through with minimal interference. Also dreams are a way that our minds use to tell us things that are still far too difficult and painful to hear any other way, and so they are dressed up in unconscious symbols and woven into a story in order to send important messages to other parts of ourself.

Your reading request is actually in two separate parts, so I will now attempt to answer them one at a time.

In order to be able to tell you with any degree of certainty that this dream represented a real past life experience of your's, I would need to know far much more about the historical setting, if you were watching yourself from a higher point or were instead experiencing the sexual assault in the first person, and a whole lot of other details. Do you remember that you admitted that you have dreams that help you to get through a specific problem? How would knowing that you were raped in a past life help you with coping with your fears of being similarly assaulted in this one? Or is it the fact that somebody who you felt was a friend of your's in that past life killed your attacker while he was on top of you?  Would this give you some comfort that you are safe from being assaulted in this lifetime because of your friends?

To be  perfectly honest with you, my feelings are that this dream was neither a past life experience of your's (as it is possible to tap into the past life experiences of someone else), nor is it in any way a premonition of the future. I cannot offer you any logical evidence to support my theories, and I stand corrected if it does turn out that I was wrong, but my impressions are that every female's unconscious fear of being raped is being expressed in this dream and the dream scenario is simply your mind's way of assuring you that you are not in any imminent danger.

While you should of course continue to take all reasonable precautions with locking your doors at night and not going for walks in poorly lit areas or dressing in such a way that the courts could twist into an open invitation to a potential attacker (which is a big part of the reason why many women who have been raped never report it to the authorities), you do not on the other hand need to become paranoiac about this and begin to see rapists wherever you might look. In other words take sensible personal precautions, but otherwise do not continue to focus on this possibility and allow it to distract you from getting on with the rest of your life. In this manner I feel that this dream is directed towards helping you to get your understandable fears (after reading stories in the media) into their proper perspective, and nothing more.

I am not a trained medium myself but my feelings are the same as your's in that the semi-small looking younger man with medium length brown hair is your main spirit guide, guardian angel or doorkeeper who will be watching over and protecting you throughout your entire lifetime. The other male spirit which you referred to as Blue, and to whom your main guide introduced you is I sense more of a spirit helper than a guide in the usual sense of the word. This is someone who has entered your life on a more temporary basis to help satisfy your particular personal needs during this specific phase of your life. As we move through life, while our main guide is always close to us, other spirit helpers move in and then out as our needs and interests inevitably change. "Blue" is one of those personalities who will teach you new skills in order to better prepare you for whatever the future holds in store for you. Interestingly I also feel that Blue is a bit of a character or lad, and that he has a well developed sense of humour that you could not go wrong developing more of in your own life.

He has come to lighten up the proceedings and help you to laugh more at the often ridiculous nature of life and above all at yourself for taking everything so seriously and too much to heart. He comes as a bit of light or comedy relief. Not every spirit helper needs to be a sullen faced sourpuss? While life on this planet is definitely filled with much pain and sorrow for many, being able to laugh at yourself and life as a whole is an essential part of every person's survival kit. Some spirit helpers have even been known to arrive dressed in clown suits, in order to accelerate their charge's healing. Living a "spiritual life" does not always mean that we need to constantly go around with a sad face. Just as there are times for being serious, there are also times to love and be loved, and for having fun and enjoying life to the fullest possible extent? "Blue" had I feel come to help you in this regard, especially at that time in your life as a whole (beginning several months ago). Blue is still working with you, and will continue to do, for some months yet.

Often the best way to deal with our fears is with humour?

Has this helped to answer your questions?

Thanks for the reading  The dream in which I wrote about took place in a city like place, between two large brick buildings and I was in a first person view looking up and seeing the bottom of a fire escape.  The man was larger with dark hair and it was one of the few dreams in which I remember feeling pain.

I had that dream a few months ago, and thus far have not seen it as one of my "helpful" dreams (that help me through a problem).

Thanks again for the awesome reading, I feel the same way about Blue.  As far as my main spirit guide, I don't know his name but I just call him Bobby...what do you think?  Do you see his real name?
You are very welcome for the reading

I do not yet know the name of my own guide, and I very rarely get the name of someone else's as part of a reading, as was sadly the case with your's.

If you appear to keep getting the name Bobby for your main guide continue addressing him as such, and if he wishes you to call him by another name he will soon let you know most politely.

Especially if the name Bobby has some special meaning to you or it gives you an increased sense of comfort, no reasonable guide is ever going to feel in any way offended if you use Bobby instead of his real name.

It is just too trivial a detail to be allowed to come between you, and to spoil your intimate working relationship with each other?
