Normally we are discouraged from giving a person a reading as their very first posting on these forums, but the urgency and seriousness of your financial and family problems does I feel require an exception to the general rule to be made in your situation.
When we are desperate to do what we believe is the right thing to do is in someone else's best interests (in this case your brothers or your brother's wife, as you said in your request
her boss), we often make rash decisions which we may come to regret later. In addition to this I feel that the person who sold your house for you (if there was a real estate agent, and this was not a private sale) has exploited you when you were at your most vulnerable. If there was an agent involved you probably do not have enough money to pay the legal bills if you challenged his professional competence. Do you have any legal recourse to recovering some of the money you were cheated out of, or alternately can you get some free or cheap professional financial advice in your local area. This has gone too far and is too important to depend entirely on friendly advice or a psychic reading. All of these options and more must be used in combination with each other in a balanced manner?
Whoever the family member is who you now owe their inheritance money to, there is no useful purpose beating up on yourself, although being human we often do exactly that. Being too hard upon yourself for making a mistake is highly counter-productive, and is almost guaranteed to destroy what ever self confidence you have left. Why you personally had to bear the total cost of fixing up the family home which I believe was in a serious state of neglect and disrepair at the time you took it over only you would know. Are you the first born of your parent's marriage, or was this done purely because you felt it was expected of you? In other words, how much if any of the pressure you felt to quickly sell your own home came from within you?
When I asked the cards about how I could best help you, I was immediately prompted to draw the Wheel of Fortune. Most of the other cards in a Tarot deck emphasise the idea that anything significant we can achieve in life can only come about with much time and effort on our part. But the Wheel of Fortune makes the point that sometimes events in our lives happen not always because of our own hard work but more because of a stroke of good luck. On the basis of this reading I would interpret this particular card to mean that money or saleable goods from an unexpected source are going to go a long way towards improving your financial status during the next six months or so.
If you feel that you can possibly afford a ticket in a major lottery which is in itself fairly cheap, then I would take this card as a positive sign that this would be a good time to regularly buy a ticket. You have to be in it to win it, and similarly you may need to invest a small part of your remaining resources in order to offer yourself the best possible chance of getting back on your feet financially, sooner rather than later. I am not suggesting here that you should do something silly with your remaining money and take unnecessary risks, but I am saying that to be able to attract money once more into our life, we do sometimes need to first plant a small money seed and allow it to grow in the proper fullness of time.
Unfortunately I cannot help you directly by sending $25000 in your direction (my wife would disown me), but I sincerely hope that whatever the Wheel of Fortune is trying to tell you will soon come to pass, and your money and the resulting conflicts you are experiencing with other family members will soon be replaced by a state of relative harmony, and good feelings between each of you. I feel that this would be just what your parents would have most wanted for you all - to be happy and feel loved.
Loving regards,
