To be completely honest with you I have never before been asked specifically for a reading concerning travelling, so your question immediately got my attention as well as my curiosity. I am assuming that you are talking here about the possibility of you taking a journey, trip or holiday for either work or pleasure in the near future, rather than in the broader sense you travelling or progressing through your life.

I am also being told that you have not had any opportunity to get away from the daily grind of fulfilling your family and work commitments in order to relax and gain a more balanced outlook on life for some time, and that such a period of time out would be more than welcome. I am also taking into account the fact that any travelling you do must remain within your budget, as there is hardly any purpose in you enjoying your holiday then having to work yourself into a highly emotional state on your return to pay off your extra expenses.

Where is the pleasure in that?  

So the question I am asking for the purpose of your reading is as to whether or not I feel that you will travel within a period of the next six months, as well as if this will be a relatively short time away, or if it will be for a more extended getaway.

Your focus card the Queen of Wands does indeed talk about the possibility of you going on an extended trip over the next few months, and perhaps combining this with your career. Either this is going to be a working holiday, or it might alternately mean that while you are travelling you will be lead to getting a new job that you would never have even known about if you had stayed at home.

The typical Queen of Wands person is often an entertainer (actor, singer etc) or is in a position of leadership, and to be able to get his or her talents fully recognised by either the general public or by those they work under travelling is to a certain extent an essential requirement with regards to them achieving their career ambitions. They also tend to be particularly passionate and highly focussed people who on the surface might appear to someone who has not taken the time and effort to really get to know them to be cold and unfriendly, when underneath they are basically gentle people whose true intentions are often largely misunderstood.

Such highly creative men or women often put an almost boundless energy into anything which they set their hearts on, including as a loving but sometimes overprotective parent if their union is to be blessed at some stage with children. Their working motto seems to be that if something is worth doing, then it is worth doing perfectly on the first attempt, and only they can do it. They want everything done to a high level of quality by yesterday?

While ambition motivates us to give of our very best at the time, the Queen of Wands person unfortunately is more prone than most to taking this otherwise positive quality to the extremes, often at the sacrifice of their own health and their closest relationships. This does not mean that you are somehow also destined to follow the path of a perfectionist or workaholic, but it does probably mean that you need to remain acutely aware of this especially while you are actually travelling, as your usual support networks will not be accompanying you on your trip.
