may i have a general reading please?

Hi Caitlin,

I have already had the great pleasure of meeting you on another forum, so I will dispense with any further introduction and get down to the business of giving you a general reading as requested.

When I asked the cards as to what life area it is most important for you to know about at this particular time I drew The World. Effectively this usually means that the end of a long term project or important phase of your life is clearly in sight, and that it has reached a reasonably satisfying conclusion, although there are still many questions which remain unanswered.  There is also a strong feeling that you have been gaining knowledge or actually formally studying to better prepare yourself for whatever is to happen from now on, and that you have achieved a fairly high level of mastery which could help you to teach others, if indeed this is your desire. On a more worldly mundane level this card is sometimes a sign that the person having the reading is about to have a vacation in some distant location. If this does apply to you then this would be more extensive than you simply spending a weekend away from your family.

So in summary the major arcana card called The World means that everything you have been working for over the last few months or years is about to come together, and that this is therefore a time for you of both graduation and celebration. It is believed to represent you having reached a major milestone in your personal, working or spiritual life, and it is also an opportunity for your many achievements and hard work to be formally recognised in the presence of your family, friends or work colleagues. The hard slog is nearly over and your effort and patience is about to be rewarded. It is pay off time. Whatever knowledge and skills you have gained over the last few months or even years will now be proved to be valuable to many other people as well in your role as a teacher, lecturer, or spiritual advisor.

Your understanding and caring reputation will precede you wherever you may go, and you should have no shortage of students who will admire and respect what you have to say. Your teaching duties are also very likely to be combined with a job or trip to some far off destination. This is not going to be a time for much relaxation, but The World tells me that you will be both comfortable and welcome, no matter where you may go. Being the final major arcana card in the Tarot, it generally indicates that most of the hard work is now well and truly behind you, and the time has now arrived (or is about to) for you to step out into the world at large and to prove both to yourself and to others that you have whatever it takes for you to make the grade.
