Hi Dennis,
Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to extend to you a very warm welcome to these forums. From what you have told me you are already more fortunate than many people I have read for who have graduated and are still well after this time unemployed. Can I also safely assume that the job you do have falls very short of your expectations as to what a person with your degree should be capable of, and that what was only intended as a stop gap measure until something better comes along is beginning to feel as though it could become a permanent arrangement?
Looking at your date of birth and using basic numerology in order to calculate your Life Path Number, I calculate this in your case to be 5. You share this Life Path 5 with Angelina Jolie. Read whatever you would like into this piece of numerology trivia.
1+2+2+0+1+9+8+0=23 2+3=
5
The Life Path Number 5 is about freedom, independence and the right to follow where your heart and mind lead you in life. The Life Path 5 suggests that you entered this Earth plane with a highly progressive mindset and with the attitude and mental skills to make this world a better place. You are an excellent communicator (through the use of both the spoken and written word), and you know better than most how to motivate people around you. This may be your strongest and most valuable personality strength, and would be in great demand in the type of business environment.
Because of this skill and your razor sharp sense of humour, you are a natural born salesman. This ability to sell and motivate extends to any sort of physical product, all the way through to whatever ideas or concepts you can imagine. You may strongly dislike routine and boring work, and you are not particularly good at staying with everyday tasks that must be finished on time (working to a dead line). On the average, the number 5 personality is rather happy-go-lucky; living for today, and not worrying too much about tomorrow type of person.
It is therefore I feel important for you to find a job that provides thought-provoking and mentally stimulating tasks, rather than repetitive routine and redundant responsibilities. You are only at your best when dealing directly with people, but the important thing is that you have the flexibility to express yourself at all times in such a way that you show your clients that you are at the same time listening to their needs. You have an inborn ability to think through complex matters and analyse them quickly, but then be quickly on your way to something new.
Your compassion and intuition would make you a valuable employee in any business, if only you can be given the chance to show them of what strong moral fibre you are made of. In other words, that you are not a cold and calculating machine but instead a warm and generous human being who also has the client's best interests at heart, and someone who will consequently not force something upon them simply because it increases the company profits.
In summary then I do feel that you are basically on the right track with regards to your current career direction, but I also at the same time feel that the more caring and human side of your personality needs to be worked upon if you are going to be both successful and truly happy at what you will be doing. I sense that you are highly intuitive, but may not be presently either aware of this, or more likely you may not yet know how best to apply your gift of inner knowingness to a working business environment that must necessarily turn a reasonable annual profit, in order to stay afloat.
Hoping this helps you to get clearer in your mind as to what I feel is your optimum career direction, and perhaps also gives you some clues at to how to make the most of your many positive personal qualities in getting a job which will also satisfy your financial needs, now and well into the future.
May your God go with you always,
