A few months ago Pravin requested a reading from me.  Because of the subject matter I told him I was unable to do the reading at that time.  Of course, I felt guilty for saying no, so I recently asked hime if I could do a reading for him at this time.  He graciously agreed and here is the reading:



Dear Pravin, when I opened your records I received great warmth and admiration from the spirit world.  in reviewing your question to the RecordKeepers I got many smiles.  They said this is one of the lessons you have chosen to experience and seem to have a bit of difficulty in turning loose and giving over complete control to your son.  You will be able to continue on your spiritual path as soon as you realize that the world will not fall apart tomorrow if you release all control to your son and continue on your journey.  You are what we call a self-made man in that you have worked and struggled all your life to acquire your current position in life and the education you received through scholars and through experience has been very beneficial to get you where you are today.  It is very difficult to turn loose and see that your has to take a similar journey and learn the facts of the business world the same way you have.  We all wonder why our children cannot learn from our experience?  The same reason we had to learn from experience, this is why we are on this earth, to experience, learn and understand so that we can become more God-like.  That is our quest.  Understand that you would be cheating your son out of some wonderful experiences if you do not release and allow him to learn.  To assist you in reaching this level of confidence to release, I would suggest the releasing prayer.  You are free to change the words to fit the God of your understanding, but I have found from experience this little prayer is very powerful because it is simple in nature.

If what I am experiencing is not mine, may God have His shield around me and I release whatever it may be to Him.  For the highest good of others and myself.

Say this prayer for 10 days and you will begin to see a change in your attitude and will see that you can turn over your responsibilities to your son and perhaps others in the family.



Again, you have made something very simple into a mountain.  You will please your Sadguru by experiencing life, enjoying life, this world and all that is in it was created for us to enjoy, why do we make it so complicated when it is so simple, love and enjoy.  Your Sadguru's spirit is with you daily.  You receive little signs often, a certain coin, its denomination is small, seems to appear in odd places often, this is just his way of saying hello, I have been around, or when you walk you see these small coins, pick them up, smile and just acknowledge that he is there.  Your humility has blocked your view, you are much the same as your Sadguru, you just don't realize it.  He was not perfect, he was human, just like you and me, but from where you stand you beleived him to be almost perfect, that was because of the wonderful love he spread throughout his lifetime.  He was an awesome gentleman, full of appreciation of everything that was created, including you and all of those around him.  You are seen much like him by many.  What you perceive in attaining this goal and what is reality are a bit different, but the answer is yes, you will see that you will attain this goal, once you understand that you have already received approval from the spirit world.

Dear Pravin,

I recently had a reading by MangoMom as well and was for some reason drawn to read her post to you.  (not meaning to pry)

Although I dont have children old enough to leave anything to at this time...I seem to have been going thru something similar to you in regard to "releasing control"..

I am writing to let you know that you are not alone in the respect that we all sometimes (although we already know certain things) need to hear it spoken from someone who is in a neutral position.  Outside looking in, so to speak.

Mango posted a prayer for you and when i read it, I recognized it as a prayer I had used in the past.  


I believe i was led to read her post to you so that I would be reminded to use that prayer again!  

In another post last week a member mentioned that sometimes we will read a post meant for another person but in reading it, realize that there is something within that resonates with them as well!  How beautiful!  Isnt it wonderful how the Universe works? I am babbling now...please pardon me
