Welcome Megan,
There is really no need to be apprehensive about requesting a reading on this forum as I believe that the people who so generously give of their time and energies on these boards with the intention to help you work rather well together as a team, each using their own unique gifts to better prepare you for whatever the future holds in store. Nothing at all creepy happens here, as we are I believe basically reading your aura and determining your personality strengths and weaknesses. We are not as many people think trying to read your mind and always attempting to predict your future, so your most private thoughts and your ability to live your life as you see fit to do so are quite safe.
You have mentioned three main areas of interest on which you would like us to focus.
1. Money and jobs - closely interrelated
2. Academic things, by which I think you meant your education and further study.
3. Love and marriage - hopefully love continues to come first.
In order to give you this intuitive reading I asked my inner guidance as to which of these three major life areas it is most important for you to know about at this time, and the answer which immediately was given in return was Love and Marriage (option 3). The other two equally important life areas will sadly have to wait until another time?
I do not know whether or not you are already in an existing relationship which is relatively steady, although I suspect that your studies do not presently offer you many opportunities to socialise, and therefore to regularly mix with members of the opposite sex.
The Tarot card called the Ten of Cups is all about what strength and support it can give us to be a much valued, respected and loved member of a family, as well as the many joys inherent in having loyal and trusted friends around you, especially when life is not treating you particularly well. The rainbow of Ten Cups in the sky is believed to refer to creating a firm foundation of love and trust with other family members in order to build upon later, and it promises that while our lives will each continue to have their own unique challenges, if you can only work together for the common good then your success and happiness is almost ensure. Strength in numbers, or in this case strength in friendships or within an overall happy and relatively stable relationship between two people who love each other dearly. This card symbolises the type of family that most have wanted our own family to be like at times - people coming together on special occasions like Christmas or birthdays to joyously celebrate the beauty knowing each other as well as they each do and enjoying each other's company and having a wonderful time doing it. The type of family that rushes to the front door when you arrive home after the end of a hard working day and greets you with a smile or a kiss. The type of family which real families in the real world often fall short of being.
I do not think for one moment that this card is predicting that you are about to meet the love of your life, get married and start an idealised family as the one above is all in the space of the next six months, but I do see this as something to hope for and work towards creating, while realising that you are very unlikely to get anything near perfection whenever at least two people are living under the same roof on a daily basis.
There is no doubt that to increase your own chances that you will eventually find a suitable life partner for you and both want to settle down, you need first to be a better friend to yourself, and to make him a true friend
before you make him your lover. If you are not first a friend to yourself and have low feelings of self esteem, then why would you expect any one to want to love you? If you do not think much of yourself, this would mean that they are either a fool, or more likely are trying to put something over on you not in your best interest, but their's.
The Ten of Cups therefore is seen as a particular good omen rather than it being a prediction that the joys of friendship and possibly marriage as well can be yours's over the medium to longer term as long as you first get clear in your mind what you can reasonably expect from such relationships, as well as doing whatever you can within limits to increase your own feelings of self worth. Basically the ball is now squarely in your court as to getting out there and finding new friends and potential partners, and I wish you all the love and happiness in the world in pursuing this course of action. I sincerely hope that this reading will be found to be relevant to your current circumstances, and that it will help you to better understand yourself in the process.
May your God go with you always,
