The often used term psychic vampire, while it definitely applies to certain individuals who can quickly suck you dry of your life force if you allow them to, therefore seems rather unfair to me as a general label to describe when the overall flow is in their direction (and away from you).

It is quite normal in otherwise healthy relationships for the energy to flow first one way and then in the next moment the other, as long as over the longer term both partners are pulling their weight, and it is by their mutual agreement. Very rarely if ever are the energy flows in both directions equal.

It is only when one of the partners constantly takes, takes, takes without giving something of value in return and is on a personal power trip that I would choose to describe them as being a psychic vampire.

Half of the problem in most our lives, is the battle for "spirit energy" with the people around us

! I am not trying to be a smart "tush". If somehow most (at least those interested) people could get a grasp on this energy drain challenge, we would all live in a better world.

The short to your question as to how you can effectively channel life energy to heal others without at the same time having your own energies exhausted or drained away, is to ensure that you are not using your own energies in the first place.

Basically there are though to be two quite different forms of giving healing.

Magnetic Healing (as defined by the late and great healer Harry Edwards) is where the healer willingly gives the patient some of their own life force as a temporary top up or stop gap measure, in order to tide them over until a proper healing can be done. If you feel incredibly exhausted after administering a healing, then it is likely that you are relying far too heavily on giving a Magnetic Healing.

True Spiritual Healing on the other hand comes straight from God through first his healing guides and angels closely followed by the healer themselves, and is finally transmitted to their client, and brought down to a safer level so as not to harm them. The healer does not provide the energy, but simply acts as an active channel by which means God's healing love eventually reaches the patient in a form which is useful to them. After long periods of giving spiritual healing, rather than feeling exhausted and drained of your life energies, you should feel revitalised and on top of the world.

Actually it feels so good that it can easily become quite addictive.

The techniques to ensure that you are giving a spiritual rather than magnetic healing (which has nothing at all to do with magnets or magnetic therapy) are usually taught most easily in a development circle which is focussed entirely upon developing the gift of healing, hopefully lead by a person who is an understanding and still practising healer themselves.

Probably an excellent topic for debate in the general Psychic Forum, instead of taking up any more valuable space here.

Dear EoT and cave yogi,

Nice to be chatting with you.

I have tried out a few techniques such as white light shield and violet flames transformation, but those techniques make me very spaced out and more agitated. Tried wearing crystals to cover the heart chakra it helps a bit.

Now I just do the "psychic puke"

I take very deep breaths and while exhaling I sort of regurgitate all the negativity (I sort of imagine the the bad stuff as black smoke). At first I did it every where even to people I dont like, but then I felt so bad and guilty of leaving all these psychic mess

so now I do it on the sun and the wind and the ocean (while I am onboard) and ask mother nature to please purify and recycle these negativity.......

Eye, Moving this to the right place/forum works for me

I am a newbe, sort of wondering around loose

,getting a feel for things.

If you are willing, start the/that topic and then post the address to "that topic" in "this topic" so that it shows up in my email

and I have a path to it. I get lost on big messageboards (they didn't have computers back in "The Day"

I am actually/sort of running catch up with this computer stuff. My wife calls it the "Evil" TV
