I have been an "lurker" of this site for queit some time, and I think you all are doing a great job, but I have felt most connection to EoT.

I haven't any special request, just an general reading.

If any other feel connection I would also love to hear their view.

I will with humility gratefully accept the complement you have just paid me, in the same true spirit of love with which it was given. As I also feel a deep sense of connection with you at this time, it will be both my pleasure and privilege to give you a general reading as requested.

I immediately get the feeling with you that helping other people as well as solving your own problems is what your spiritual path is mainly about. It is therefore appropriate that when you mentioned that you felt a deeper connection with me that I at the same time feel that your major life purpose is to create and deepen connections with others close to you. Are you one of those very giving people who constantly sacrifices her own equally important needs for the sake of others, and the person to whom your friends and family members come for help and support when they want someone who they feel that they can trust, who always seems to be there for them especially when the going gets tough?

While your desire to help others is both noble and admirable, and I am certainly not suggesting that you should stop doing this, you are being advised to discover a more practical and manageable balance between helping others with their needs, as well as at the same time satisfying some of your own.

Please do not feel offended when I say that sometimes it is better in the long run for people to learn to learn to help themselves, rather than to have everything done for them by someone as caring as you obviously are? If you continue to make every decision for them you are thereby denying them of a valuable  opportunity you develop and mature more fully as both a spiritual and human being. If you give a man a fish he will not be hungry at least for a day, but if you on the other hand teach him how to fish, then he and his family should never be hungry again? Do you understand the important point I am attempting to make concerning balancing your acts of charity with discernment as to when your assistance is either required and/or in the other person's best interests?

The focus card for your general reading called DEATH does not mean that your own time on Earth is nearly over, although I do feel that it probably means that you are currently going through a period of significant transition in your life which will require you to symbolically die to your older and possibly outmoded ways of thinking and doing, with the guiding purpose to be subsequently reborn again into the next important phase.

Therefore the card called DEATH is not something to be feared as possibly being a prediction of your imminent  physical demise, or as a bad omen that your world as you know it is about to essentially come to an abrupt end. While it does necessarily mean that you will be required to shed so much of what has already gone into making up your life up until now (including any relationships that have long ago served their original purpose), at the same time it means that you have many exciting and challenging opportunities waiting for you, if only you are both willing and able to more fully open your mind and embrace the new. Somewhat ironically, shedding old worn out relationships can actually go a long way towards creating new connections with others, as well as deepening existing ones.

No, if you are already happily married, it does not mean that you now need to seek a divorce in order to progress any further. This could not be any further from the truth. If you are already married, this is one of your main relationships which would require deepened connections between you and your spouse, in order for him to support you in doing your spiritual work, but not as a result negatively impacting on your relationship with each other. In my own marriage, it is the complete opposite of what would be your situation. I am doing the spiritual work, while my wife provides the essential support which in turn offers me the opportunity to be able to help nice people like you on these MB forums through giving readings.
