I lost my job in April 2007 and have been a stay at home mom since then.  I started up a home office as a Mortgage Loan Officer, however it has been hard to be productive with 2 little ones that need my attention.  Plus the type of business has been difficult since calling on leads, there seems to be no obligation on the borrowers part.  They will switch to another very quickly.

Could I please have a reading that will help direct me into the right direction.  I have been looking at job posting on the internet.  In hopes of finding something that will pay as well as my other job.  I have even been looking for my husband a new job, to possibly increase his income.  Can you tell me what sources would be best for me and what industry.  I just want to focus my energy in the right direction.  I would love to stay at home with our 2 little ones......do you see this as a possibility.

It would seem to me with all said about Life Path 9, that I am truly following that Life Path and If I could somehow incorporate that into my search for jobs then I would be continuing my Life Path as a  compasionate humanitarian and I am quite sensitive and empathatic.  All jobs that I have had in the corporate world have been cut throat, stressful, full of deadlines, competitive etc.  Even as a Mortgage Loan Officer I personally get more fullment when I truly know I have helped someone.

I just  don't think I would be serving my duties and responsibilities as my children's mother by sending them to Day Care and jumping back into the Corporate World.  Oh, and yes your are so right about the creative side...I have taken acting classes before and one of the assignments was to write also and the Professor used my work as an example to the whole class (of course I was about 30 then and the other students were much younger) but I was very proud.

There is a job (not available now) that is with CPS (Child Protective Services) that transports theFoster Children and supervises the family visits and writes up the notes for the case.  I thought this would be a job I would thouroughly enjoy.  Can you tell me if you see this coming to my future?

I just went back on Line to see if the CPS job might be available and it is..... in my County, states Must apply by tomorrow.  I am submitting my application now.

The answer to your question as it stands is not very likely, especially within the next six months or so.

If however we consider what possibly lies ahead for you with regards to the type of job for which you are hoping to get beyond the next six months (12 months or more), your chances start looking better (although they are nothing like 100% guaranteed).

My feelings are that you will eventually gain some type of position with the Child Protection Services which, although it may not exactly satisfy all the preconditions you are currently placing on it, will at least provide you with enough family income as well as being more consistent with your chosen spiritual path and core beliefs, as represented by your LPN of 9.

In other words, whatever position you do ultimately get with the CPS, it will I sense involve certain compromises on your part with reference to your most desired job description. You will not be doing exactly the types of tasks you have listed all at once, but near enough in order to fulfil both your own constantly changing needs, and those of your family as well as time moves ever onwards.
