Hello again Tonya,

It should be obvious to anyone who has read some of your previous postings in the main Psychic forum that when asking for spiritual information you are mainly concerned with your psychic development (or apparent lack of).

We have I feel already established that the you are both clairvoyant and empathic, and what you may presently lack in understanding about your psychic abilities is more than compensated for by your sheer enthusiasm and your enquiring mind. Do not get too upset if you do not currently know your spirit guide's name, as many highly successful psychics have never been personally introduced to their guide, and it has never prevented them from doing this work. This does not mean that at some later date your guide will not decide to finally reveal his or her true name to you, if it is felt to be in your best interests to know this. Just do not get too hung up on being given a name at this relatively early stage.

I am one of those people who believes that barring the occasional accident, everything happens for a reason, even though we may not understand what the reason for the vent was at the time it happened. Some things we may never be given an understanding about, so this is where our faith that our life has a meaning and purpose beyond the physical and visible should kick in. At this particular point in time, your mind is functioning like a huge sponge, in that it seems to increasingly want to absorb huge amounts of information about every question you could possibly imagine concerning matters of a psychic nature.

But just as with a sponge your mind can only absorb so much at one time, and with due respect I feel that your's is presently at it's maximum capacity. Your mental sponge is presently almost effectively waterlogged! In order to develop psychically in a safe manner, while at the same time integrating what you have learnt into the rest of your life, slowly but surely and taking a more middle of the road approach is definitely the best way our guides know to strengthen the link which will allow you to eventually work in closer co-operation with them, in order to help others who are in need.

I am consequently being asked to pass on a message to you that nothing worthwhile is ever achieved overnight without some consistent effort over the longer term on your part. Communication with your guide will gradually become easier if given adequate time and a little more patience, so please slow down to a much more sustainable rate and try more to enjoy and live in the present moment. In other words, while your enthusiasm to learn to better use your natural psychic abilities is to be applauded and encouraged, you still have the rest of your life to live as you best see fit to do so, so attempt to find a more comfortable working balance for you between your psychic and non psychic activities. Sitting on your behind meditating for several hours each day may greatly increase your psychic sensitivity, but it is not going to go anyway towards paying your household bills, or assist you in finding a suitable life partner.

Also do not depend almost entirely on any one source or person for your psychic information. While there are many well meaning people and many valuable sources of useful information which could potentially be of great benefit to a person such as yourself, there are also as with any other field of interest frauds and information which is without doubt false. There is no point in you taking in all this information unless you can also develop the powers of discernment necessary to sort out what is true, from what is anything but true.

This is yet another reason why you should at times try to keep your enthusiasm for gaining knowledge more under control than it has been up until now. Increased sensitivity will gradually develop under the care and supervision of your guide who knows even better than you do yourself what are your psychic strengths and weaknesses, but discernment is something which only you can gain for yourself through ongoing practice and experience.

Again as before you are being urged to balance psychic exercises done alone, against times spent as a member of a psychic development group or circle with a knowledgeable and understanding teacher or leader to guide you. Not all our guides need to already necessarily be in Spirit? You need to also at times receive constructive feedback from others who are themselves developing psychically (although their development may be in different directions from your own), in order to get a reality check, and in this manner develop the ability of discernment to which I referred above.

I sincerely hope that these insights will be helpful to you, and that you will find some comfort in knowing that you are far from being the only person who has never formally met his or her guide, with the intention of learning their name. I do not have a clue as to my own guide's name, and at this stage I believe that knowing it would only be a major distraction from doing my spiritual work on these forums. Perhaps it is not within the spiritual path of every psychic to know the name of their own guide, until the time is right (our guides will decide when this is the case for each of us)?

Please do not stop asking questions (a maximum of two per posting), not only because it is the most effective method to learn anything useful, but also because this is the only way we can determine at what stage you currently are along your own unique spiritual path through life.

You are absolutly right..lol. My mind is like a rubber ball in a concrete room..lol. Thank you again. I just get confused about things, and when I can't find answers I ask. You are wonerful.

One other important thing which you should remember is that we are often given the answers to the questions we ask in our lives only gradually, as if we were given them before we were adequately prepared to use the knowledge gained they would then effectively be more than useless to us.

Trying to push things along according to our own time schedules, instead of allowing our spirit guides who know better than us as to what is in our own best interests to decide when the time is right for us to have a question answered, will only I believe significantly increase our feelings of confusion, as well as the unnecessarily high levels of stress we constantly place upon ourselves by attempting to upstage God.
